Hands #173-176: Duuuuuukkkkkeeeeeee!!!

Nível 36 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #173: James Duke opened for 800,000 from the button. Jonathan Dimmig folded from the small blind and Jeff Coburn three-bet to 2.3 million out of the big blind. Duke four-bet to 4.3 million. Coburn mulled it over and let his hand go after approximately 30 seconds. A loud "Duuuuuukkkkeeeee" came from the rail as Duke dragged the pot.

Hand #174: Duke completed the small blind and Dimmig checked his option. The flop came {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and both players checked. The turn was the {2-Clubs} and Duke check-folded to Dimmig's 700,000 wager.

Hand #175: Coburn opened to 950,000 and was called by Dimmig in the big blind. The flop came {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{J-Spades} and Dimmig check-folded to Coburn's 1.2 million bet.

Hand #176: Dimmig opened to 900,000 from the small blind and Coburn quickly three-bet to 2.0 million. Dimmig said "I think I believe you" and let his hand go.

Hands #168-172: Dimmig Scores The Double

Hand #168: Raised pot pre flop from Jeffrey Coburn and James Duke called. Coburn followed up the {2-Spades}{J-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} flop with a continuation bet of 1 million and that was enough to win the pot.

Hand #169: Raise and take it for Coburn, nobody wanted to call his 950,000.

Hand #170: Jonathan Dimmig raised to 900,000 and that did the trick.

Hand #171: Dimmig made it 800,000 to go and both opponents called. On the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, Duke bet 1.4 million and was met with a min-raise to 2.8 million by Dimmig. Coburn surrendered and Duke asked his opponent “How much you got behind?”

Duke took about two minutes and then called. The {4-Clubs} turn saw Duke leading for 2 million and Dimmig ended up folding his cards. Some guys on the rail came up with a “Duuuuuke” followed by “Show the bluff.” Duke simply sent his cards to the dealer.

Hand #172: Duke wasn’t done yet with stacking the chips of the previous hand and raised to 900,000. Dimmig moved all in and Duke once again asked for a count. It was 4,275,000 in total and now Duke started stacking the remaining chips to have a better idea of his stack size.

Duke called after he was done stacking and then some more. It was off to the races:

Duke: {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Dimmig: {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

The {5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds} was great for Dimmig as he now had an open ended straight draw as well. However, the {Q-Clubs} showed up on the turn. The rail erupted and the dealer delivered the {6-Clubs} for an even bigger cheer of the rail from Dimmig. He doubled up and the field is more even again.

Hand #163: James Duke completed the small blind and Jonathan Dimmig checked his option. The flop came {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {3-Spades} and Duke check-folded to Dimmig's bet.

Hand #164: Dimmig opened for 900,000 from the small blind and Jeff Coburn moved all in from the big blind. Dimmig made a face and said something quietly to himself. He took a glance at his hand and let it go to give Coburn the pot.

Hand #165: Dimmig opened for 800,000 and Coburn moved all in for the 2nd hand in a row. Dimmig folded.

Hand #166: Coburn limped in and Duke completed the small blind. Dimmig checked his option. The flop came {10-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} and Duke led out for 500,000 and was called by Dimmig. Coburn folded.

The turn was the {2-Spades} and both players checked. The river was the {K-Diamonds} and Duke bet 1.4 million. Dimmig made the call and mucked when Duke showed {7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for trip deuces.

Hand #167: Duke limped in and we again saw a three way flop which came {6-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. Dimmig bet 600,000 and Coburn made it 1.6 million to go. Duke folded and Dimmig called.

The turn was the {K-Spades} and both players checked. The turn was the {8-Hearts} and Dimmig checked. Coburn bet 2.4 million and a sour look came over Dimmig's face. He thought for a moment and then let his hand go to give the pot to Coburn.

Hands #158-162: Dimmig Stays Active

Nível 36 : 200,000/400,000, 50,000 ante

Hand #158: James Duke raised to 800,000 and Jonathan Dimmig made it 1.7 million to go. Jeffrey Coburn folded and Duke quickly grabbed the chips for the call. We saw the {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} flop and Dimmig continued for 1.15 million.

Again Duke quickly went into his stack, but only to play with the chips and giving it some thought. He then released the cards to the dealer and Dimmig raked in the pot.

Hand #159: Coburn limped from the small blind and Duke raised it up for another 600,000. “That will take it,” announced the floor man and Duke stacked the chips.

Hand #160: Coburn raised to 1 million from the button. Duke folded the small blind but Dimmig called the additional 600,000 to see the {K-Spades}{J-Spades}{Q-Clubs} flop. Dimmig checked, Coburn bet 1.4 million and Dimmig moved all in. That shut down the action and Coburn folded.

Hand #161: Coburn received a walk.

Hand #162: Dimmig raised to 800,000 and Duke made the call. The dealer spread the {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} flop and Duke bet 1 million. It didn't take long for Dimmig to raise it up to 2.6 million and Duke counted out the chips for a call.

Duke sat there silently for a minute and then mucked his cards.

Hand #147: Dimmig opened to 600,000 from the button and was called by Duke from the big blind. The two checked the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} flop and turn but Duke would bet 800,000 on the {K-Hearts} river which would be enough to win him the pot.
