Daniel Harwood Investment Reaps Rewards

• Nível 8: 400-800, 100 ante

Three players saw a flop of {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} including Joe Grech and Daniel Harwood, who was in the big blind, and it checked around.

The turn card was the {5-Spades} and it checked to Grech who bet 8,000. Harwood and the other player called.

The river was the {q-Spades} and Harwood jammed it in covering both players. The first player folded but Grech mulled it over for a while before calling off around 30,000.

Harwood had him with {j-Spades}{10-Hearts} and Grech had to table his {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} before he left.

Harwood said he couldn’t believe he nearly folded the turn for just 8,000. It sure paid off when he didn’t.

Three players got to the turn of a board reading {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

Long had {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} but Stephens had a full house with {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

The river for the record was the {8-Diamonds} and Long was bust while Stephens won a big pot with her first pocket pair of the day,

Déjà vu All Over Again For Natalia Breviglieri

• Nível 7: 300-600, 100 ante
Gone Girl. Natalia Breviglieri Busts
Gone Girl. Natalia Breviglieri Busts

Natalia Breviglieri had bet 3,600 on a flop {8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{a-Spades} and Valentin Frunze, a PokerStars qualifier from Moldova , moved all in for 34,000 which just covered Breviglieri.

“It’s like déjà vu,” Breviglieri said.

Frunze had knocked Breviglieri out of the High Roller when he jammed big with a flush draw on the flop and got there against Breviglieri’s two pair.

“Let’s see if I can run better.” Breviglieri said and called.

Breviglieri had {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Frunze did indeed have a draw with {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} bringing the flush and the river was the {9-Hearts}. Breviglieri was out again to the Moldovan who muttered an apology.

Careful Now; Benjamin Philipps Calls

• Nível 7: 300-600, 100 ante

Allera Florence opened the action for 1,600 and got calls from Joseph Crampsie, Benjamin Philipps and the player in the small blind.

With four players to the hand there was little desire for any action until the river of a dangerous looking board that read {10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

The player in the small blind bet out 2,900 and got a call from Florence. Philipps also called and when he showed {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} the other players mucked.
