As the unfortunate Anatoly Gurtovoy trudges over to the rail to be consoled by his friends we draw the curtain on Day 2 of the €100,000 Super High Roller. The final table is set, and leading the eight people all vying for a piece of the €4,432,500 prize pool, is Justin Bonomo with 4,393,000 chips.
Poker is a funny old game, and it couldn't have been demonstrated better than in this following hand. Tony G raised to 14,000, Patrik Antonius called before Justin Bonomo raised to 46,000. Tony G four bet to 114,000, Antonius folded and Bonomo moved all-in for 400,000. Tony G folded face up, Bonomo hauled in his fortunate catch and went on to dominate the tournament.
Of the eight players still in the hunt for the sumptuous €1,640,000 first prize, 50% of them are PokerStars Team Pros. Daniel Negreanu (1,581,000), Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier (1,265,000), Jonathan Duhamel (654,000) and Eugene Katchalov (262,000) still in contention for the Super Hugh Roller title.

Daniel Negreanu raised to 68,000 in middle position, Justin Bonomo called in the cutoff and Anatoly Gurtovoy moved all-in for 433,000, on the button. Bertrand "ElkY' Grospellier was seated in the small blind and he was suddenly very curious in the hand. The Frenchman asked for a count and pondered for several minutes before folding. The cards of the big blind and Negreanu quickly followed into the muck but Bonomo wanted a showdown.

Jonathan Duhamel raised to 43,000 in the cutoff, Daniel Negreanu called on the button, Tobias Reinkenmeier called in the small blind and Justin Bonomo called in the big blind.
The action checked through to Negreanu who made a bet of 104,000. Reinkemeier made the call but Bonomo surprised them both with a check-raise to 350,000. Duhamel folded, Negreanu made the call and Reinkemeier folded.
Bonomo stared ahead for a very long time before eventually moving all-in. This rocked Negreanu back in his chair but he did eventually muck his cards leaving the pot to Bonomo.

Masa Kagawa raised to 50,000 from middle position and Tobias Reinkemeier reraised to 140,000 from the small blind. After Justin Bonomo folded from the big blind, Kagawa called and took the flop. Reinkemeier fired 155,000 and Kagawa called.
The turn was the and both players checked to see the land on the river. Reinkemeier checked, then folded after Kagawa bet 150,000.
From the button, Jonathan Duhamel raised to 48,000. Tobias Reinkemeier called from the big blind and then checked the flop. Duhamel checked behind and the turn brought the . After Reinkemeier checked, Duhamel bet 55,000 and Reinkemeier called.
The river card was the and completed the board. Reinkemeier checked, then Duhamel checked behind.

Action folded to Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier in the cutoff seat and he raised to 50,000. On the button, Patrik Antonius reraised to 125,000. Play folded through the blinds and back to Grospellier. He four-bet shoved for 575,000. Antonius thought for a minute, then called.
Grospellier held a dominating lead going into the hand and didn't give it up. The board ran out and Grospellier moved to over 1.2 million in chips. Antonius lost a little over half of his stack and is under 500,000 in chips.
