Hiroyuki Noda raised from the cutoff and David Bach three-bet on the button. Arash Beral called in the small blind as did Christopher Holden in the big blind. Noda folded and they went three ways to a flop of 975.

Beral showed A10 and Holden held AK. Bach turned over A5 for the lone pair of fives and was awarded the pot.

"You Don't Play Cash?"

Joe McKeehen
Joe McKeehen

A talkative Michael "Crazy Mike" Thorpe had trouble staying in his seat as he preferred to mill about the room in between hands, striking up conversations as he saw fit.

On one of his stints back at his table, he was heard asking Main Event and three-time bracelet winner Joe McKeehen, "You don't play cash?".

A less talkative chap, McKeehen just frowned and shook his head slightly in response.

"So you're a professional tournament player?"

McKeehen offered only a shrug of acceptance.

"Do you think that's sustainable for most people? You've got to be in, like, the top 1%, right?"

McKeehen again only offered a head shake to the first question and didn't bother to answer the second question as Thorpe was already out of his chair and on to the next inquiry, wherever it might land.

Al-Keliddar Straightens Out, Takata Eliminated

Nível 16 : Limits 8,000/16,000, 0 ante

The action picked up on the river and Kenneth Takata attempted to muck his hand after being shown the nut straight of Yaser Al-Keliddar.

The board read 758210 and Al-Keliddar showed the J9, but the table mentioned that because Takata was all in, he had to show. Apparently, not one to complain, Takata showed the AA for what turned out to be a bad beat.

He then graciously said his goodbyes to Maria Ho and used less kind words with the rest of his tablemates, all in good jest.

Young Calls Down Dilschneider

Nível 15 : Limits 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Daniel Young raised it up in the hijack and was called by Kyle Dilschneider in the cutoff and Clayton Mozdzen in the big blind. The flop came K53 and Young continued with a bet. Dilschneider called and Mozdzen stepped aside.

The turn was the 9 and Young checked this time. Dilschneider tossed in a bet and Young came along to the 4 on the river. Young checked once more and Dilschneider still bet. Young quickly called and Dilschneider was reluctant to show his cards. Young tabled 1010 and Dilschneider sent his cards to the muck.

Takata Bada Bink, Ho Dodges Danger

Nível 15 : Limits 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Maria Ho folded when facing the three bet of Moshe Gavrieli and Kenneth Takata made the call. A short-stacked Moshe Gavrieli was left with a single yellow chip worth 1,000 as they went heads up to the flop.

The dealer fanned out the A3A and Gavrieli put his last chip in the middle, Takata quickly matched it.

Moshe Gavrieli: KK
Kenneth Takata: AQ

Gavrieli groaned and gave the felt a knock as he saw Takata's flopped trips. The 8 and 6 didn't help him any and he wished his opponents good luck before leaving the tournament area.

Maria Ho tactfully waited for Gavrieli to leave the tournament area before mentioning she had folded an ace and she was glad she hadn't seen a flop, due to her diligent fold.

Patrick Leonard was seen leaving the tournament area, as it appears he has been eliminated from the tournament.
