Sebag Doubles Through Brandes

Nível 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Fabian Brandes raised preflop and Emmanuel Sebag came along to then see a flop of {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} on which Brandes bet 600,000.

"That doesn't look good ..." Sebag joked and some laughter emerged on the table before Sebag added a "fuck". He then called all-in for 330,000 and they turned em over.

Fabian Brandes: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
Emmanuel Sebag: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}

The {5-Clubs} turn improved Sebag and he held onto the lead on the {a-Hearts} river for the double.

Sebag Essentially Triples Up; Gets Short After

Nível 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Emmanuel Sebag
Emmanuel Sebag

Fabian Brandes raised to 250,000 and Tong Li called in the small blind. Emmanuel Sebag called in the big blind with just 130,000 behind and then jammed the {k-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop on which Brandes raised to 425,000 and forced out Li.

Emmanuel Sebag: {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}
Fabian Brandes: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Sebag asked for a heart and his wish was granted on the {7-Hearts} turn and {j-Spades} river runout for the near triple up.

Brandes then raised to 300,000 and Sebag called in the small blind. Both checked the {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop and Sebag check-called the {6-Spades} turn for 200,000. The {8-Diamonds} river was checked and Sebag announced one pair, Brandes revealed the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} and that won the pot.

Gregory Shuda Eliminated in 8th Place ($152,091)

Nível 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Gregory Shuda
Gregory Shuda

Gregory Shuda raised to 300,000 and Josh Arieh three-bet to 1,075,000 from one seat over. Tong Li in the big blind tanked for a long time and folded while Shuda pushed and Arieh instantly called.

Gregory Shuda: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Josh Arieh: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Spades}

Shuda was somewhat excited to get it in ahead and didn't show any emotions on the {q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop on which Arieh picked up a flush draw. After the {9-Clubs} turn, Shuda said "don't do it to me ..." followed by a very crystal clear "fuck" when Arieh got there on the {q-Clubs} river. His second ever tournament has ended in 8th place for $152,091.

Li Doubles Through Sebag

Nível 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Tong Li limped in from early position and Emmanuel Sebag raised to 540,000 in middle position. Action folded back to Li who called.

The dealer spread the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop and Li's remaining chips went into the middle against Sebag.

Tong Li: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Emmanuel Sebag: {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

The {2-Spades} turn and {7-Clubs} river kept Li ahead with his two pair and he secured the double through Sebag.

Ball Chips Up Through Brandes

Nível 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Scott Ball raised the pot to 360,000 and Fabian Brandes defended the big blind. They checked the {q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop and {10-Diamonds} turn. On the {q-Clubs} river, Brandes bet the pot for 900,000 and Ball called after some 15 seconds.

"You win," Brandes said and conceded the pot by pushing his cards towards the muck. Ball didn't have to show but exposed his {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} anyways.

Shuda Gets Shorter; Arieh Chips Up

Nível 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Tong Li limped in the cutoff and Gregory Shuda did so in the small blind, Josh Arieh checked out of the big blind. On the {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop, only Shuda check-called for 250,000 when Arieh bet and then led the {a-Spades} turn for 500,000.

Arieh gave it brief consideration and raised to 1,100,000, which won the pot right there as Shuda folded.

One hand later, Fabian Brandes opened to 300,000 and Jonathan Depa three-bet the pot to 1,150,000 from the very next seat to collect the chips uncontested.

Straight for Shuda

Nível 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Fabian Brandes opened to 250,000 in middle position, Emmanuel Sebag called in the small blind, and Gregory Shuda defended the big blind.

The trio checked the {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop to the {8-Hearts} turn. Sebag checked, Shuda bet 300,000, Brandes folded, and Sebag called.

The {7-Hearts} completed the board, Sebag checked, and Shuda bet 350,000. Sebag used a time extension to think about his decision before putting in the calling chips.

"Straight," said Shuda, as he tabled the {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and collected the pot.
