Ball Continues Climb

Nível 28 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Josh Arieh opened to 350,000 in middle position, Sam Stein called in the hijack, and Scott Ball called in the small blind.

The dealer fanned the {8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop and action checked to Stein. Stein bet 550,000, Ball called, and Arieh folded.

Both players checked the {q-Diamonds} turn to the {6-Hearts} river, and Ball led for 900,000. Stein called.

Ball revealed {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and claimed the pot with his boat to add more to his stack.

Ballsy Move Not Rewarded

Nível 28 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Fabian Brandes raised to 350,000 on the button for Scott Ball to call out of the big blind. The {5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop was checked by Ball, who subsequently called a bet worth 350,000. Both opted to check through the {9-Hearts} turn and Ball then bet the {4-Clubs} river for 800,000.

Brandes instantly called and Ball turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, which Brandes had beat with the {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for trip fours.

Ball Loses to Li; Wins From Brandes

Nível 28 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Tong Li limped in from under the gun, which prompted limps from Fabian Brandes on the button and Jonathan Depa in the small blind. Scott Ball checked the option in the big blind and they checked all the way to the {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts} river. Depa checked and Ball bet 450,000, which only Li called.

Ball tabled the {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Li earned the pot with the {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}.

Josh Arieh then limped the small blind and Sam Stein checked from the big blind. The {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop went check, check, and Arieh stabbed the {q-Spades} turn with a min-bet. Stein raised to 400,000 and earned the snap-fold.

Ball, Arieh and Stein then limped and Brandes made it 750,000 to go in the big blind. The only caller was Ball, who faced a bet worth 600,000 by Brandes on a {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop. Ball raised the pot and Brandes folded instantly.

In the meanwhile, Depa's stack has been nearly halved after he hasn't picked up a single pot as of lately.

Josh Arieh: {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}

Arieh was ahead to the {3-Diamonds} turn, but the {10-Clubs} hit the river to give Stein aces and tens for the superior two pair to keep his tournament life alive.

Meanwhile, Scott Ball has also picked up some chips against Fabian Brandes in a recent pot.

Stein Takes From Li; "Idiot" Arieh Chops With Ball

Nível 27 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Tong Li raised on the button and Sam Stein called out of the big blind. On the {q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop, both players checked and Stein check-called the {6-Clubs} turn for 350,000. After the {7-Clubs} river, they checked it down and Stein immediately announced "I got it" before revealing the {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} as the winning hand.

One hand later, Josh Arieh raised to 325,000 on the button and Fabian Brandes defended the big blind. Brandes stabbed the {q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop for 350,000 and Arieh folded.

Arieh then made it 375,000 to go and Scott Ball defended from his big blind. Ball check-called the {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop for 400,000 and the {j-Hearts} turn for 825,000. The {6-Hearts} river was checked and Ball tabled the {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. In disbelief, Arieh rolled over his {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and then said "I am such a bitch ... god, fire again ... such an idiot."
