John Hoang was down to his last few big bets and he raised it up from the cutoff. Kosei Ichinose three-bet in the small blind and Hoang stuck in a four-bet. Ichinose raised one last time and Hoang found himself all in for 115,000.

The flop of left Hoang in a great position to double up with his pocket queens. The on the turn gave Ichinose some more outs but the on the river was not one of them.
Steve Chanthabouasy raised from the hijack and Ryan Hansen called in the cutoff. John Hoang also came along from the big blind as the flop came .
Hoang checked to Chanthabouasy who continued with a bet. Hansen folded but Hoang stuck around to see the on the turn. Hoang checked again and Chanthabouasy still bet. Hoang folded this time and Chanthabouasy collected the pot.
Kevin Erickson raised on the button and John Hoang defended his big blind.
The flop came and Erickson called Hoang's bet.
The came on the turn and Hoang led. Erickson thought about it and ultimately put in the raise for the rest of Hoang's chips. Hoang called and hands were revealed.

Both players had a pair but Hoang needed help. The board completed with the , eliminating Hoang and leaving his rail quiet following the deep run.
