Day 3 Begins With 10 Players In Search of Bracelet in Event #44: $3,000 6-Handed Limit Hold'em

Bracelet WSOP 2021
Bracelet WSOP 2021

Welcome back for the final day of Event #44: $3,000 6-Handed Limit Hold'em where just 10 players remain in the hopes of capturing a World Series of Poker gold bracelet. Kenny Hsiung will come into Day 3 as a slight chip leader and also as the only player with a bracelet to his name already.

Hsiung bagged up an impressive 1,171,000 chips after Day 2 and knows what it takes to get the job done in this type of event. Hsiung's only other WSOP victory came nine years ago in this very same event when it was played as a full ring. Now with it being a 6-handed version, Hsiung is showing that he's still got the talent to do it all over again.

It's far from over though, as Hsiung will be closely followed by Kevin Erickson (1,139,000) and Ryan Hansen (1,115,000) as the only other players with a seven-figure stack. Another name to keep an eye on is Ray Henson who topped the field after Day 1 but will now return as the short stack with only 151,000 chips.

The action is slated to get underway at 2 p.m. local time with the blinds resuming on level 21. The blinds will be 13,000/25,000 with the limits at 25,000/50,000. The goal is to reach the final five players before the PokerGO stream begins at 4 p.m. The levels will be 60 minutes in length with a 15-minute break after every two levels and a potential dinner break after the sixth level.

The PokerNews live reporting team will be on the tournament floor to bring you all of the updates throughout the day en route to crowning a WSOP champion.
