Daniel Negreanu has been adding to his stack late in Day 1. After winning a pair of sizeable pots in Omaha Hi-Lo and Razz, Negreanu added more chips in Stud when his opponent folded on sixth street.
Eli Elezra was in a three-way pot when we joined the action on fifth street. Elezra's bet was called by both opponents before hitting an ace on sixth street, when one opponent folded before the second called. Elezra bet again after the final cards were dealt, and his remaining opponent folded.
Ray Henson has crossed the 100K mark late in Day 1. Henson has 67 career cashes at the WSOP and five rings on the WSOP circuit. He is looking for his first WSOP gold bracelet.
James Woods was getting short before finding a triple-up against two opponents. According to Woods, he started the hand with hidden sevens and found a set on fourth street. After his remaining chips were in the middle, Woods made quad sevens to scoop the pot and make it to Level 9.
