Nível 3 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

David Einhorn opened with a raise under the gun to 55,000. Next to act was Cary Katz and he raised, making it 153,000. Action folded around to the blinds where Stephen Chidwick called in the big blind. Einhorn called as well and it was three to a flop.

The flop was {K-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades} and both Chidwick and Einhorn checked to Katz who fired a bet of 200,000. Both of his opponents folded and he was able to take down the pot.

Phil Ivey

Bryn Kenney just took his seat during the break and was directed to the open spot on the left of Phil Ivey. Just a few hands later, Ivey opened to 36,000 from early position and Kenney three-bet to 130,000. The action folded back to Ivey who called to see a flop of {k-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

Both players checked and the {7-Spades} landed on the turn. Ivey checked again and Kenney slid in a delayed continuation bet of 120,000. Ivey called and the {3-Diamonds} completed the board. Ivey checked for the third time and Kenney barrelled another 365,000. Ivey made the call and Kenney turned over {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Ivey showed {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for two pair and dragged in the pot.

Daniel Negreanu opened in middle position with a raise to 40,000. Antonio Esfandiari was next to act from middle position and he raised to 101,000. Action folded back around and Negreanu called.

The flop was {K-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Spades} and Negreanu checked to Esfandiari who put out a bet of 53,000. Negreanu called.

On the {10-Clubs} turn, Negreanu led out, betting 100,000. Esfandiari thought for a bit before raising and making it 368,000. Negreanu then took him time and raised to 1,200,000. Esfandiari called.

On the {4-Spades} river, Negreanu checked. Esfandiari checked behind. Negreanu showed {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} for the nut straight and Esfandiari let out a groan before mucking his hand.

"I was very happy to hear you check on the river," Negreanu said after the hand.

Schindler's Queens Good enough Against Salomon

Nível 3 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

David Peters opened to 40,000 and Rick Salomon three-bet to 140,000 on the button. Jake Schindler four-bet to 500,000 from the big blind. Peters folded and Salomon called.

Schindler bet 275,000 on the {k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop and Salomon called. The pair quickly checked down the {10-Clubs}{j-Clubs} board and Schindler's {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} was good enough to take down a sizeable pot.

Stephen Chidwick

Antonio Esfandiari opened to 28,000 from early position and Stephen Chidwick three-bet to 100,000 on the button. Esfandiari called and the flop fell {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{2-Hearts}. Esfandiari check-called a bet of 55,000 from Chidwick and the {a-Hearts} paired the board on the turn.

Both players checked and the {q-Hearts} completed the board. Esfandiari led out for 141,000 and Chidwick looked him up. Esfandiari turned over {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} which was counterfeit on the river, and Chidwick tabled {q-Clubs}{j-Spades} for a full house.
