Antonio Esfandiari opened on the button with a raise to 27,000 and Christoph Vogelsang called in the small blind. Matthew Siegal called in the big blind.

The flop was {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs} and action checked to Esfandiari who put out a bet of 32,000. Vogelsang folded.

"Cheap," Esfandiari said. "Just 32."

Siegal then called.

"Chasey chasey?" Esfandiari said.

The turn was the {5-Hearts} and both players checked.

"Give that man a freebie," Esfandiari said. "Because he's Canadian."

On the {9-Clubs} river, Siegal checked again. Esfandiari put out a bet of 150,000 and Siegal promptly folded allowing "The Magician" to take down the pot.

Petrangelo Escapes the Bear Trap

Nível 1 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Rick Salomon opened to 25,000 from the hijack and Talal Shakerchi called in the cutoff. Nick Petrangelo three-bet to 150,000 on the button and Christoph Vogelsang four-bet to 475,000 from the small blind. The action folded back to Petrangelo who called to see a flop of {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

Vogelsang checked to Petrangelo who tossed in a bet of 275,000. Vogelsang just called and the {7-Diamonds} landed on the turn. Both players checked and the {8-Hearts} completed the board. Vogelsang used up a time extension before checking again. Petrangelo quickly checked back and Vogelsang turned over {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}.

Petrangelo put his hands in the air and started clapping, happy about his check back. "That was the ol' bear trap right there," he said.
