With just a few minutes until the first scheduled break here on Day 2 of the PokerStars Championship Bahamas, we took in a few hands that may have big implications later.
Lauren Monosson will take no further part in proceedings after her preflop move all-in with was called by Harry Ratchford pocket nines, which survived through a board showing . Ratford now has around 80,000 and looks keen to progress a lot further.
Gleb Tremzin is still involved, although the Russian was very short-stacked when he moved all-in. He had pocket aces, however, and through a board of , they rivered a full house to double him up to 48,000.

Betting to 3,400 preflop from the hijack position, she got one caller to a flop of . Checked to, Dawley continued for 2,800 and again got a call.
On the turn of , Dawley bet 5,300, and her opponent check-called again. However, on the river, her bet of 5,000 was check-raised all-in. Only having around 7,00 let, Dawley called and flipped over her hand of , but her opponent held and had flopped a set. Dawley headed for the door.
Lexy Gavin started the day with about 65,000 chips and lost several small pots here and there to bring her down below the starting stack in this tournament.
After coming back from the first break of the day, Gavin got her chips in the middle with and was called by Sylvain Loosli holding .
The board ran out nine-high and Gavin secured the double to stay alive.
