Stephen Chidwick had just stole the blinds and antes with a raise, and the next hand he opened again. This time he made it 525,000, with about the same behind. The message was clear, Chidwick played for it all, he wasn't going to fold.
Action folded to Ismail Erkenov in the big blind, and the Russian announced all in. Chidwick called instantly.
Chidwick was dominated, and wouldn't make a miraculous escape like Mercier had just done: .
"Hop! Hop! Hop!" cheered Erkenov with his rail. "Have fun" said Chidwick to no one in particular.

Ami Barer opened the hijack with a min raise, and Jason Mercier on the button shoved all in for 1,630,000. Both blinds folded, Barer instantly called.
The flop was extremely good for Mercier though, and he mumbled "Oh my God!"
The and were blanks, and Mercier doubled.
Jason Mercier opened to 200,000 under the gun, and Marc-Andre Ladouceur made the call in middle position. Ismail Erkenov made the call from the big blind.
Erkenov shoved for 740,000, and Mercier folded after some tanking. Ladouceur wasn't too happy, but he did make the call.
The on the turn gave Ladouceur a set, but Erkenov the straight. Ladouceur needed the board to pair, but instead the popped up which gave Erkenov the flush.
Marc-Andre Ladouceur shoved under the gun for 1,195,000, and right next to him Stephen Chidwick re shoved for 2,150,000. All other players folded, and another big showdown:
The flop was a disaster for Chidwick, and the on the turn settled it. The on the river was there just to make things official.
Ismail Erkenov opened to 220,000 under the gun plus one, and right next to him Jason Mercier shoved all in for 955,000 total.
Action folded to Stephen Chidwick, and he announced all in as well. Big blind Ihar Soiko thought for 10 seconds and folded, Erkenov needed 20 seconds, but folded as well.
The board contained just blanks, and Mercier doubled up the third hand after the break.
With a dead small blind (Marc-Andre Ladouceur), Jason mercier shoved the cutoff. Benjamin Pollak thought for some time on the button, but folded. So did Stephen Chidwick in the big blind.
Ami Barer has returned as well, and also only missed a single hand.
