In a button against big blind situation, Claudio Di Giacomo three-bet to 750,000 from the big blind, Ludovic Geilich four-bet to 1,275,000 on the button, Di Giacomo five-bet shoved 3,215,000 and Geilich snap-called.

Geilich was in prime position to launch himself to 9 million in chips and become one of the top stacks in the room. However, there was a different outcome in the cards as the board ran out to give Di Giacomo the set he needed to escape elimination.
