Less than a week ago, Ole Schemion won the PokerStars.it EPT10 Sanremo High Roller for €265,000. The victory made his an overwhelming favorite to capture the EPT10 Player of the Year title, and just when things couldn't be going any better for the 21-year-old German, he won his way into this event for a reduced €10,200.
That's because last night a dozen players participated in a €10,200 buy-in satellite into the €100,000 Super High Roller. Others who participated included Adrian Mateos, Steve O’Dwyer, Sorel Mizzi, Mike McDonald, Olivier Busquet, Thomas Muclocker, Igor Kurganov, Mustapha Kanit, Ami Barer, Martin Finger and Max Altergott.
Of those, only Barer, Mizzi, Muhlocker and Kanit have not entered the SHR today. Only time will tell if they decide to pony up the $100K.
Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu has just taken his seat in the tournament.

Reigning World Series of Poker Europe Main Event winner Adrian Mateos opened the action with a raise to 4,000 from the button, which inspired Alec Torelli to three-bet to 14,000 from the big blind. The Spaniard, the first to ever play the Grand Final $100,000 Super High Roller, made the call and it was heads-up action to the flop, which they both checked.
When the appeared on the turn, Torelli checked for a second time and Mateos bet fur blue T5,000 chips for a bet of 20,000. Torelli thought for a long time before waking up with a check-raise to 65,000, which did the trick as Mateos released his hand.

"You're bored huh?" said John Juanda to Elton Tsang who was seated one table behind him. "No, no, no" replied Tsang who did have his hand underneath his chin.
"You can't smoke here, what are you doing here anyway?" asked Juanda. While some people laughed, Tsang remarked that he had quit smoking. "You really?" said Juanda, "Yeah" replied Tsang.
"You want to make a bet?" continued Juanda his question streak. "The bigger the better" snap replied Tsang. "The bigger the better" repeated Tsang after Juanda double checked. "One year of not smoking?" Juanda proposed. "The bigger, the more motivation I have" said Tsang who apparently is on his first day of giving up on smoking.
"Ohh, you're drawing dead" said Juanda. "One bad beat and you're smoking again"
"What about 5 million?" asked Tsang. "Hong Kong?" asked Juanda. "Yeah"
"Ok" confirmed Juanda, "Let's talk about it in the break, the terms and stuff"
Well, there you got it. Just like that they made a bet for HKD 5,000,000 (€467,415/$644,888).
