Dario Sammartino opened to 55,000 from the hijack and Andrej Desset three-bet to 170,000 in the cutoff. Timothy Adams was in the small blind and four-bet to 575,000. Sammartino laid his hand down and Desset proceeded to call.
The flop came and Adams led out for 275,000. Desset called and the slowed things down on the turn as both players checked to the on the river. Adams shoved all in for 1,590,000 and Desset slammed his chips down in frustration. His head fell into his hands and he tanked for nearly three minutes. The clock was eventually called and when the timer reached zero, Desset's hand was dead.

The action folded around to Albert Daher on the button who raised to 50,000. Liv Boeree was in the small blind and three-bet to 160,000. Steffen Sontheimer folded his big blind and Daher made a four-bet to 350,000. Boeree sat still for a moment before stacking up her remaining chips and pushing all in. The players are going on a 90-minute dinner break. We spoke to chip leader Martin Kabrhel before he went on dinner, and he said that he felt that the day had gone well so far.
"It's been pretty good; pretty lucky," he said, "But I'm feeling pretty good.
"I'm hoping to take a good stack forward to tomorrow."
Kabrhel was also in charge of buying up the T-1,000 value chips.
"However, please tell everyone how unlucky with the chip race I was." Kabrhel had four chips to color off and drew to fail to chip up a single one of them.
Players will return at around 22:30 local time.
