Sontheimer Wins an Early One

Nível 1 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

The Wolf limped in from the hijack and Steffen Sontheimer raised to 50,000 in the small blind. The big blind folded and Wolf called to see the flop fall {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}.

Sontheimer checked to The Wolfwho fired a bet of 95,000. Sontheimer made the call and the {5-Hearts} paired the board on the turn. Sontheimer checked again and The Wolf made a smaller bet of 75,000. Sontheimer continued to call and the {q-Hearts} hit the river. Both players checked and The Wolf tabled {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Sontheimer turned over {k-Spades}{j-Spades} for the same pair but held a better kicker to win the pot.

Lakemeier Drags Four-Bet Pot From Adams

Nível 1 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Jens Lakemeier raised to 26,000 from early position and Boris Becker called from the small blind. Timothy Adams three-bet to 155,000 from the small blind, Lakemeier four-bet to 430,000 and Becker folded. Adams took around two minutes before making the call.

The flop was {Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Adams checked. Lakemeier, who's been on a tear online this year under his moniker "Fresh_oO_D", continued with 375,000 and Adams folded after a minute.

Petrangelo Catches Pidun

Nível 1 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

On a {2-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{K-Hearts} flop, Andreas Eiler bet 35,000, Nick Petrangelo called and Daniel Pidun also called on the button. The {9-Clubs} on the turn got checked to Pidun, who bet 85,000. Eiler folded and Petrangelo called.

On the {7-Hearts} river, Petrangelo checked and Pidun bet 125,000. Petrangelo slumped back in his chair, thought about two minutes, before reluctantly flicking in a call.

"You're good," said Pidun, who showed {4-Spades}{2-Spades}. Petrangelo showed {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and took down the pot.

The Wolf Becomes the First Casualty

Nível 1 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

With 300,000 in the middle already and the board reading {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, The Wolf led out for 150,000 from middle position. Steffen Sontheimer raised to 350,000 on the button and The Wolf quickly called.

The river was the {10-Clubs} and The Wolf bet a single 500,000 chip. Sontheimer raised to 1.6 million and The Wolf opened his hand, showing {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. It appeared The Wolf was unsure of the raise and thought the players were at showdown. The dealer thought he was folding but The Wolf quickly asked for his cards back.

After The Wolf pushed the rest of his chips in the middle for a total of around 1.4 million, Sontheimer tabled {6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for a full house. There was a bit of controversy as to what the correct ruling should be, but it resulted in Sontheimer winning the pot and The Wolfbusted his first entry in the first level of play.

Aido Takes A Big Slice From Fast

Nível 1 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

In a big hand between Sergio Aido and Dietrich Fast, the latter was left with less than 30 big blinds after the dust had settled. The exact action was unknown, but on a {2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} board, all of Aido's stack of 1,740,000 was in the middle. Fast had him slightly covered.

Sergio Aido: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}
Dietrich Fast: {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}

Aido's full house beat Fast's nut flush and the Spaniard doubled up.
