2011 World Series of Poker Europe
Break
The players are now on a 20-minute break.
Shoes Off! (If Ya Love John Eames)
On the last hand before the break, Richard Haile raised to 2,100 in early position, and John Eames flatted a couple seats over. Jackson Su wanted to play for more, though, and he squeezed in a reraise to 6,100 from the hijack seat. Haile made the call, but the action froze on Eames. He eyed up the stack of Su (~50,000), then reraised all in for 47,800 over the top. Su tanked for a couple minutes and called, while Haile folded with a frustrated flick. The stacks were close, and the hands were on their backs.
Showdown
Eames:
Su:
Su was crushed by his misstep, and the dealer would provide him no help. The board ran out , and Eames' full house earns him the double. When the chips were counted down, Su was left with just 1,100 of them with which to mount a comeback.
Eames is now over the century mark with 102,600 chips.

Selbst to Seventy
Toby Lewis has just joined Table Vanessa Selbst, and that should make for plenty of action over there. Lewis wasted no time opening the last pot to 2,000 from early position, and he found action from Selbst in the big blind as well as Gianluca Speranza in the middle.
On the flop, Selbst took the lead with 3,400 chips, and Lewis spent a long while thinking it over. He double-checked his cards and considered for another minute before surrendering, and a matching surrender from Speranza gives Selbst that little pot, pushing her right up around 70,000.

Karr Troubles
Come to think of it, we haven't heard McLean Karr's voice in quite a while. A quick check on his (former) table finds both he and his chips missing, and a quick scan around the room turned up nothing, either. We'll venture a guess than the bespectacled pro has been eliminated here with a small cash.
Waxman Eliminated in Flip
From middle position, Christopher Sly raised to 2,100. Action folded a couple of seats over to Norbert Levigne in the hijack seat and he reraised all in for approximately 17,000. Play then folded to Matt Waxman in the small blind. He announced that he was all in as well. Waxman called all in for less at 10,600. Sly folded, claiming to lay down two tens.
Waxman:
Levigne:
The flop, turn and river ran out and Waxman couldn't hit. He was eliminated while Levigne chipped up to about 30,000.
