Moshe Refaelowitz: AQ

The full board ran out J2997 and Watson would score the double late in Day 3.

Louis Russo Eliminated in 24th Place ($19,020)

Nível 38 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante
Louis Russo
Louis Russo

Action folded to Nikhil Nair in the small blind who went all in having the big blind covered. Louis Russo was in the big blind and called.

Louis Russo: AJ
Nikhil Nair: K8

The J43 flop was great for Russo as he hit top pair and neither player had a club in their hand. Unfortunately, the K turn and K river would seal the deal and send Russo to the rail in 24th place.

Action was joined with two players all in. Day 2 chip leader Jesse Kertland was all in and at risk and had been called by Pete Chen.

The cards hit their backs.

Jesse Kertland: A4
Pete Chen: AJ

The full board ran out 36JA4 and although both players hit two pair, only Chen would drag the pot. Kertland hit the rail after an impressive showing.

Gabriel Jansen Falcao Baleeiro Eliminated in 26th Place ($19,020)

Nível 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Gabriel Jansen Falcao Baleeiro
Gabriel Jansen Falcao Baleeiro

Gabriel Baleeiro went three ways to a flop of 108A but only had one chip left behind. This is something that Darrick Arreola hadn't realized and when he did, he tried to bet the one chip. The dealer informed him he had to bet at least one big bind, as Moshe Refaelowitz was still in the hand. Baleeiro and Refaelowitz called.

Three ways to a turn, they saw the 8 and when Refaelowitz placed a wager, Arreola snap-folded.

The dealer forgot to table the all-in player's hand and when the 10 rolled off the river, Refaelowitz showed J9 for the nut straight and Baleeiro shook his head in disappointment before launching his hand in the muck.

Manuel Bravo Martins Eliminated in 27th Place ($15,420)

Nível 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Manuel Bravo Martins
Manuel Bravo Martins

With a pay jump of over $3,000 between 27th and 26th place, Manuel Bravo Martins put all but one of his chips in the middle. When the player to his left pushed forward a stack to ask for the rest, the table folded around.

Martins took another minute in his decision, but eventually the clock was called and the floor determined he would get another minute before a thirty-second count down. He did end up flicking the chip in and putting himself at risk.

Manuel Bravo Martins: A7
Pete Chen: K10

Martins was ahead with ace high going to a flop of Q36. The turn was doom for Martins as the K peeled, making it so he had to catch an ace to survive, but the river peeled the 6 instead.

Sakato Doubles Through Akari After Cold Runout

Nível 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Toshimasa Sakato
Toshimasa Sakato

Action was opened to 1,600,000 by Ghadi Akari in late position. It then folded to Toshimasa Sakato in the big blind who jammed for 10,600,000. The action was back on Akari who got a count and quickly called.

Toshimasa Sakato: A6
Ghadi Akari: AK

Akari was in great position to get a knockout and scoop. The QQ9 flop was great but the 6 turn vaulted Sakato in to the lead. The J river would bring no help. Sakato would get a pure double late in Day 3.

Jesse Kertland

Derek Romanowsky went all in against Jesse Kertland and the latter made the call. Kertland had a rocky start to the day and had been on a downward trend up until this hand.

Derek Romanowsky: K10
Jesse Kertland,: AK

The flop brought the A97 and a collective, "Ahhhhh....", as it would be a long way for Romanowsky to pull ahead. The turn closed the door on him, bringing the 4, and the river fell the 9, ending Romanowsky's run here in the Colossus.

Yee Gets it in Bad and Scoops

Nível 34 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Gary Yee
Gary Yee

Action folded to Gary Yee in late position who limped. It made it to Nikhail Nair in the big blind, who checked, and the two were off to a flop.

The 4Q8 flop landed and Nair checked it over to Yee. He went into the tank for a moment and eventually went all in for 1,550.000. Nair took a moment and then made the call as it was only a few big blinds.

Gary K Y Yee: 33
Nikhil Nair: 108

Yee was in bad shape and only drawing to two outs. Right on time the 3 hit the turn and Nair was suddenly drawing dead. Yee would scoop the pot after a huge suck-out to keep his tournament alive.

Serrano Gets Spicy at Table 1

Nível 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Abraham Serrano
Abraham Serrano

Heads up to a flop of 78J, Yi-Cheng Yeh checked, inducing a bet from Abraham Serrano for a cool 1,000,000. Yeh made the call.

The turn brought the K and Serrano sized down, sliding out one pink chip for a wager of 500,000. Yeh took a moment to think it over but pushed his hand in the muck.

A flurry of bust outs to start the day had Table 1 break as the players began to consolidate.
