Two Pots for the Shorter Stacks

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Sean Troha limped in and Shiva Dudani checked as they headed to the {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop. Troha check-called a bet worth 500,000 and both then checked down the {10-Diamonds} turn as well as the {7-Diamonds} river.

Troha tabled the {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Spades} for aces and jacks to win the pot.

Dudani then limped his small blind and Michael Duek checked to the {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} flop on which Dudani bet the minimum for 200,000 and Duek called. Dudani then check-called the {6-Hearts} turn for 400,000 and check-folded the {10-Spades} river when Duek bet 600,000.

Troha Puts Duek on the Short Stack

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Sean Troha
Sean Troha

Sean Troha is doing his best to mount a comeback after being shrunk recently to four big blinds. He is now second in chips after a recent victory over Michael Duek.

Troha opened on the button to 600,000 and was called by Duek in the big blind.

The players checked the {4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop, but on the {4-Spades} turn, Duek came out with a bet of 600,000.

Troha called, and the {7-Diamonds} was laid out on the river.

Duek continued his aggression, cutting out two orange T-500,000 chips, and placing a blue T-100,000 chip on top for a bet of 1,100,000.

Troha didn't hesitate to move all in for 2,800,000, and Duek quickly folded.

Small Pots Enable Troha to Chip Up

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Sean Troha raised the pot on the button to claim the blinds and big blind ante. Shiva Dudani then raised to 400,000 on the button and Troha came along from the big blind. On a flop of {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs}, Troha checked and got out of the way when Dudani bet 400,000.

One hand later, Troha limped from the small blind and called a raise to 600,000 by Dudani in the big blind. Both opted to check the {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop and Troha bet the {6-Clubs} turn for 600,000, taking down the pot without resistance.

Troha Gets Shorter Then Doubles

Nível 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

After Sean Troha lost another million of his shrinking stack after calling a three-bet preflop from Michael Duek, then folding to an all-in flop bet, Troha got his last 1,550,000 chips in preflop versus Shiva Dudani.

Sean Troha: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Shiva Dudani: {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}

The board came {3-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Spades}, giving neither player a pair, so Troha's ace-queen high actually held up as the best hand to give him a much-needed double-up.

Dudani Pulls Further Ahead; Troha Now Very Short

Shiva Dudani

Shiva Dudani raised to 450,000 on the button and was called by Sean Troha in the big blind. On a flop of {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}, Troha checked and then folded when Dudani bet 400,000.

In the very next hand, Troha limped the small blind and Dudani raised to 450,000 for Troha to call. They headed to the {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop on which Troha check-called a bet worth 400,000. The {k-Hearts} followed on the turn and Troha check-called another bet worth 700,000, albeit reluctantly.

Once the {9-Diamonds} fell on the river, Troha checked the third street in a row. Dudani now asked for the size of the pot and then bet 2,200,000 into 3,250,000. This sent Troha deep into the tank for more than four minutes. He eventually made the call and Dudani rolled over {k-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for a full house to win the next big pot.

Tom Hu Eliminated in 4th Place ($395,465)

Nível 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Tom Hu
Tom Hu

Shiva Dudani continues to steamroll the final table with the elimination of Tom Hu in a huge pot that's seen him now take over two-thirds of the chips in play.

After Michael Duek opened to 350,000 from the cutoff, Hu called from the small blind. Dudani then bet the size of the pot (1,400,000), getting a fold from Duek, but Hu decided to call and see a flop.

That flop came {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, and both players checked. The turn {6-Spades} brought possibilities, pairing the board and bringing three to a flush.

Hu now led out for 500,000 and Dudani called.

With over 4,000,000 now in the pot, on the {q-Clubs} river, Hu moved all-in for 3,875,000.

The rail closed in on the table to observe the massive pot, and after Dudani got an exact count, he called.

Hu showed {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a rivered two pair of queens and eights.

Dudani showed {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts} for a rivered full house of sixes over queens to win the massive pot and eliminate Hu in fourth place.

Duek Takes Pot Without Showdown Against Dudani

Nível 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Shiva Dudani started the action with a raise to 450,000 in the cutoff and Michael Duek flat-called on the button. The {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop was checked by Dudani, who then called a bet worth 600,000 by Duek. After the {10-Clubs} turn the roles were reversed as Dudani led for 800,000 and Duek called.

Once the {2-Clubs} fell on the river, Dudani checked and Duek pondered about his next move while checking his stack several times. He then bet 1,400,000 and Dudani settled on a fold.

Nível 29 : Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Joachim Haraldstad
Joachim Haraldstad

The action started with a button raise to 450,000 by Shiva Dudani and Joachim Haraldstad called out of the big blind with some 1,600,000 behind. They headed to a flop of {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} on which Haraldstad checked and Dudani bet the pot for 1,150,000.

Haraldstad studied his short stack for half a minute and pushed all-in, Dudani essentially beat him into the pot.

Joachim Haraldstad: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}
Shiva Dudani: {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{9-Spades}

"Queen, jack, ten," Dudani mentioned when he was checking for his outs while the rail near the Horseshoe tables came closer to watch the showdown unfold. Sure enough, the {q-Spades} appeared right away on the turn and the {5-Clubs} river ended the run of Haraldstad in fifth place for $289,630.

Shiva Dudani
Shiva Dudani

Shiva Dudani continues to build his chip lead methodically in the early going.

In a limped pot from the big blind, after Tom Hu led for 150,000 from the small blind on a {2-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop, Dudani raised to 450,000 and earned a fold.

In the very next pot, Dudani raised from the small blind to 450,000 and got a fold from Michael Duek in the big blind.

The Day 3 chip leader has now built his stack to almost 20 million within the first hour of play.
