Ponakovs Pressures Badziakouski

Nível 19 : 75,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

Aleksejs Ponakovs raised to 300,000 on the button and Mikita Badziakouski defended from the big blind. The flop came {k-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Badziakouski checked. Ponakovs continued with a bet of 200,000 and Badziakouski called.

The turn was the {a-Hearts} and Badziakouski checked again. Ponakovs fired out another bet of 525,000 and Badziakouski still called. The river was the {3-Clubs} and Badziakouski checked for the third time. Ponakovs announced all in and Badziakouski was put to the test for his remaining 1,600,000 chips.

"Ooohhhh," Badziakouski let out a sighing noise. "How many time banks do I have?" He asked himself as he grabbed a hold of a bunch of them. Over three minutes passed and Badziakouski used six of his time banks before finally laying his hand down.

Nick Petrangelo Eliminated in 9th Place ($181,068); Masashi Oya Eliminated in 8th Place ($210,485)

Masashi Oya
Masashi Oya

Nick Petrangelo moved his short stack of 540,000 into the middle from under the gun. Ben Heath just called on his left and Masashi Oya also called in middle position. The rest of the table folded and the flop came {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades}.

Heath shoved all in on the flop and Oya called off his last 350,000 chips. All three hands were tabled and it was Heath who was currently in the lead.

Nick Petrangelo: {j-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Masashi Oya: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Ben Heath: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}

Despite Heath being in the lead, he had plenty of cards to dodge. The {k-Spades} on the turn and the {2-Spades} on the river were complete bricks and Heath eliminated both players.

Jensen Takes Big From Oya

Nível 18 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Action was on the flop of {4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{q-Spades}. Masashi Oya bet 450,000 from the cutoff, Mikita Badziakouski called on the button. Gregory Jensen jammed all in from the big blind, Oya called and Badziakouski folded his hand swiftly.

Jensen had the lead as he held the {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} two pair against the {q-Hearts}{7-Hearts} of Oya who would need miracle running sevens to win the pot. The turn was the {j-Spades} and the river the {10-Hearts} to give Jensen the big pot and leave Oya short.

Koray Aldemir shoved all in for his two big blind stack from under the gun. Aleksejs Ponakovs re-jammed on his left and everyone else folded.

Koray Aldemir: {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Aleksejs Ponakovs: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

There was the {6-Spades} in the window to look like Aldemir might have yet another life as the flop came {6-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} to pair the six but also give Ponakovs a broadway draw. The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and the river finally cracked the bubble as the {a-Diamonds} came off to eliminate Aldemir.
