Lonis Gets Value With Bottom Pair

Nível 13 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Jesse Lonis was out of position in a heads-up pot against Brian Rast on a board reading {5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts}.

Lonis threw out a turn bet and Rast called. Lonis bet again on the {8-Spades} river and Rast called.

Lonis tabled {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a pair of deuces to go along with the eights on the board, which was enough to win the pot as Rast mucked.

Queens in the Big Blind for Johnson

Nível 13 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

The action folded around to Matthew Schreiber in the small blind who raised it up. Marco Johnson re-raised from the big blind and Schreiber called. The flop fell {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {10-Spades} on the turn.

Schreiber checked again and Johnson tossed in a bet which Schreiber called. The river was the {9-Diamonds} and both players tapped the table. Schreiber showed the {6-Clubs} for a pair of sixes but Johnson held {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for a pair of queens.

Dilschneider Gets There Against Schreiber

Nível 13 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Matthew Schreiber raised in early position and Kyle Dilschneider three-bet from the small blind. Schreiber called.

Dilschneider bet on the flop of {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} and called a raise from Schreiber. Dilschneider checked on the {j-Spades} turn and Schreiber bet. Dilschneider check-raised and Schreiber called.

Dilschneider bet on the {6-Clubs} river and Schreiber called. Dilschneider turned over {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a turned set and Schreiber mucked his cards in disgust to concede the pot.

"Queens — with the queen of spades," Schreiber shouted to PokerNews. "You can put it in the blog."

Bronshtein Bows Out

Nível 13 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

David Lieberman raised from the cutoff and Robert Campbell three-bet on the button. Yuval Bronshtein thought for a minute before sticking in a four-bet from the big blind. Both Lieberman and Campbell just called to see a flop of {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}.

Bronshtein checked to Lieberman who made a bet. Campbell called and Bronshtein threw in his last 1,000 chip. With action still pending in the side pot, the {3-Diamonds} landed on the turn.

Lieberman continued to bet and Campbell folded on the turn. Lieberman tabled {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for a pair of queens while Bronshtein held {a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a pair of nines. The {7-Spades} on the river changed nothing and Bronshtein was eliminated.

Lieberman Finally Gets Eveslage to Fold

Nível 13 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Chad Eveslage opened from the hijack and David Lieberman three-bet out of the big blind. Eveslage called.

Lieberman bet on the flop of {10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Eveslage called. Lieberman bet again on the {k-Clubs} turn and Eveslage folded.

It was a vindictive win for Lieberman as he earlier lost a big pot with top pair against the rivered flush of Eveslage.

After that particular hand, Lieberman, who manages a car wash and detail company in Illinois, called a friend and recounted the bad beat story into his phone, all while standing within earshot of his opponent.

"Like, what do you want to make on me this time?!" Lieberman asked after winning the second confrontation with Eveslage. "I wanted you to fold. I'm scared of you. I bet, I f***in' three-bet; there's nothing I can do to make you fold."

Wasserson and Lonis Win Three-Bet Pots

Nível 13 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Eric Wasserson raised from the cutoff and Marco Johnson re-raised out of the small blind. Wasserson just called and the flop came {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. Johnson led out with a bet and Wasserson raised, getting a call from Johnson.

The {j-Hearts} paired the board on the turn and Johnson checked to Wasserson who threw in a bet. Johnson deliberated for a moment but decided to lay his hand down.

At an adjacent table, Julien Martini raised on the button and Jesse Lonis three-bet from the big blind. Martini called and the dealer fanned the flop of {q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}.

Lonis continued with a bet and Martini called to see the {7-Spades} on the turn. Lonis bet again and Martini decided to send his cards to the muck this time.
