Welcome to Day 2 of Event #23: $3,000 Limit Hold’em 6 Handed. After 10 levels of play yesterday and a starting field of 213 entries, there are currently 93 players remaining who will be battling it out to make it into tomorrow's Day 3 where a champion will be crowned. Play will resume today at 2:00 p.m. local time in Bally’s.
The total prize pool of this event is $568,710 and the first place finish will receive $142,147 and a coveted gold WSOP bracelet.
The title of chip leader at the end of Day 1 went to Daniel Vampan from West Hills, California with a stack of 217,500. Vampan has cashed in many previous events with his top finish in a WSOP event for 69th place in the 2018 $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em MILLIONAIRE MAKER for $14,944.
Rounding out the top five chip stacks behind Vampan were Phuong Nguyen (210,000), Ruiko Mamiya (207,000), Bin Duan (193,000) and Joao Vieira (176,000).

The final 93 players are back to play 10 more levels today. They’ve taken their seats and the cards are in the air.
It folded to Mike Lancaster in the small blind who raised and Matt Szymaszek re-raised it in the big blind, called by Lancaster.
The flop fanned and Lancaster checked to Szymaszek who made a bet, with around 10,000 chips left behind. Lancaster raised and called a a re-raised by Szymaszek.
All the chips went in the middle on the turn. Lancaster check and called the all in bet from Szymaszek for 4,000. Szymaszek tabled for two pair while Lancaster held for a flush draw.
The hit the river, giving teh wining hand to Lancaster to eliminate Szymaszek from this event.

In a three-way raised pot, the flop read when Glenn Cozen and John Cavanagh checked in the blinds, and so did John Cavanagh on the button.
The on the turn was checked as well and the landed on the river. This time Lorge made a bet after Cozen checked to him. Cavanagh quickly folded and Cozen tanked for a minute before calling. Lorge showed and it was enough for Cozen who mucked his hand.

Lyly Vo started with a raise and called a re-raise from Shaun Deeb seated next to her.
The dealer revealed a flop and Deeb called a bet from Vo. Both checked on the turn and a completed the river. Vo bet again and Deeb quickly called, but mucked his hand when Vo tabled for the flush.

Heads-up action preflop saw John Hoang in the small blind and Robert Campbell in the cutoff. Campbell raised and was re-raised by Hoang before they saw a flop of . Hoang checked to Campbell who bet, and received a call from Hoang.
The turn was a and the same action occurred as on the flop.
On the river a hit which Hoang bet and Campbell called. Hoang showed for jacks full of fours, which was good for the win as Campbell folded his hand into the muck.

James Crowshaw raised found a caller with Mark Bassaly in the big blind.
The flop came and Bassaly checked to Crowshaw who continued with a bet. Bassaly raised and Crowshaw quickly called. On the turn, Bassaly led out with a bet and Crowshaw called.
The river fell the and brought no action. Crowshaw tabled for a pair of threes but the pot went to Bassaly who showed for a pair of tens.
