Kassela Chops With Madsen

Nível 4

Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo

Frank Kassela: {x-}{x-} / {2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades} / {x-}
Jeff Madsen: {x-}{x-} / {7-Hearts}{4-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} / {x-}

On the tail end of a heads-up pot between Frank Kassela and Jeff Madsen, it was the former who bet after seventh street. Madsen raised and Kassela called to reveal the {k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for deuces and fives. Madsen had the low with the {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and missed the scoop with his one pair hand.

More For Madsen

Nível 4

Pot-Limit Hold'em

In a rare instance of Pot-Limit Hold'em, Jeff Madsen checked a flop of {q-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} to Bryce Yockey who bet 2,500.

Madsen called to see the {3-Clubs} fall on the turn and again he checked.

Yockey declared "pot", then cut out 8,200 chips, which again, Madsen called.

On the river {2-Clubs}, after Madsen checked again, Yockey waved the white flag and checked as well.

Madsen showed {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for top pair, which was enough to earn the pot.

Chait Gets Paid Off by Johnson

Nível 4

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

With 42,000 already in the middle and the draw completed, Marco Johnson was deep in the tank when he faced a near pot-sized bet of 40,000 by Craig Chait. After mulling it over and talking through all possible hands, Johnson eventually called.

Chait announced an eight perfect and tabled the {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} to win the pot, as Johnson sent his cards into the muck.

Nizad Wins Small Pot off Gregorich

Nível 4

No-Limit Hold'em

5 Card Draw High

Jake Schwartz raised to 1,500 and Andrew Brown then three-bet to 7,000 from one seat over. Schwartz mulled it over for a few seconds and then sent his cards into the muck.

The game mode then changed with Ryan Goindoo picking the "there will be blood" variant.

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Brown raised to 2,100 and Hye Park defended the big blind. Park discarded one and Brown took two new cards. Park then bet 4,500 and that's all she wrote, because Brown opted to fold.
