Weisman Folds Facing a River Bet

Nível 3 : 300/500, 500 ante

Dylan Weisman raised to 2,100 from middle position and an early position limper called.

The opponent checked on the flop of {3-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{k-Hearts} and called when Weisman threw out a bet of 3,100. The opponent checked once more on the {4-Hearts} turn and Weisman checked back.

The opponent then led out with a bet of 5,100 on the {j-Hearts} river and Weisman slid his hand to the dealer.

"Nice bet," Weisman said as he pat the table.

Aces Not Needed for Eskenazi

Nível 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

Three players headed to the flop of {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and the action checked to the button who bet 4,000 into a pot of around 6,000. Scott Eskenazi called from the small blind as did Ka Kwan Lau in the big blind.

The turn brought the {j-Hearts} and all three players checked to the {8-Diamonds} on the river. Eskenazi led out with a bet of 8,000 which got Lau to fold but the button still called. Eskenazi rolled over {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a flopped full house and was awarded the pot.

Ausmus Runs Into a Set

Nível 4 : 300/600, 600 ante
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Jeremy Ausmus opened to 1,800 from under the gun and picked up a call from the hijack. The flop came {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and both players checked to the {5-Spades} on the turn.

Ausmus threw in a pot-sized bet of 5,100 and his opponent just called to see the {3-Hearts} on the river. Ausmus checked this time and his opponent bet 13,000. Ausmus deliberated for a minute before finally making the call. His opponent tabled {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades} for a set of kings and Ausmus conceded.

Mahmood Eliminated by Zektser

Nível 4 : 300/600, 600 ante

On the heads-up turn of {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades}, Igor Zektser in the big blind and Ayaz Mahmood in the cutoff got their chips in with Mahmood at risk.

Ayaz Mahmood: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Igor Zektser: {5-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

Zektser was ahead with the bottom set while Mahmood had some outs with two pair and the open-ender. However, the {2-Spades} river was not among them and Mahmood was eliminated. The empty seat was then filled by Eric Kurtzman, who had just re-entered.
