Almost Maxx Value for Deeb

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

On a completed board of {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} with 76,000 in the middle, Shaun Deeb bet 75,000 out of the big blind. Maxx Coleman reluctantly called and Deeb immediately said "I got it" before revealing his {10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the jack-high straight. Coleman mucked and dropped to fewer than one third of the starting stack.

Racener Calls Down Jamasi

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

John Racener raised it up from under the gun and picked up two callers. The flop came {q-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Farhad Jamasi led out for 10,000 from the big blind. Racener called and the button folded.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and Jamasi checked this time. Racener tossed in a bet of 21,500 and Jamasi called to see the {9-Hearts} on the river.

Jamasi led out with a bet of 55,000 which put Racener in the take for a couple of minutes. Racener eventually called and Jamasi showed {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} for two pair that got counterfeit. Racener tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs} for a bigger two pair and scooped the pot.

Kornuth Busts Martini Late on Day 1

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Chance Kornuth
Chance Kornuth

It was already a massive pot to the {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts} river on which the remaining chips of Julien Martini were committed. He was up against Chance Kornuth, who rolled over the {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a flush. Martini flung his cards into the muck and then inquired "wait, was it the best river for you?" before he headed out of the tournament area.

The large pot propelled Kornuth back among the bigger stacks as the day is drawing to an end.

Banks Busts to Ziegelbecker

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

In the final hand of the night, there was a group surrounding table 447 as Oswin Ziegelbecker made a runner-runner flush on a board of {q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}. His {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} ended up as the winning hand and LaDarren Banks was disgusted.

"Wait, pull back out my hand," he asked the dealer, who retrieved them from the muck. The {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} were exposed, Banks snapped a picture and then left the tournament area without bagging any chips.
