Deeb Forced to Fold River

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Shaun Deeb called a middle position raise in the hijack. The big blind also called.

The three players saw a flop of {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs}, which checked through.

On the {5-Spades} turn, the big blind checked, the middle position player bet, Deeb called, and the big blind folded.

Deeb then bet the {9-Spades} river after the middle player checked. That player then check-raised for the rest of his stack.

Deeb claimed to have missed with {2-}{3-} and folded.

His opponent showed him {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for flopped quads and the winning hand.

Johnson Chops it up

Nível 10 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Linda Johnson
Linda Johnson

A player in the cutoff raised and found one caller in Linda Johnson in the big blind.

Johnson check-called a bet from her opponent on the {7-Spades}{10-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop, but then led out and was called on both the {k-Clubs} turn and {2-Hearts} river.

"Kings up," Johnson announced — revealing the {k-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs}. It was good for the high, but Johnson's opponent held the {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds} as part of his hand for the low.

Johnson, who is widely known as "The First Lady of Poker," has served as one of pokers biggest ambassadors over the years. She currently sits with about 20,000 in chips.

How to Beat the Defending Champ

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 0 ante
Derek McMaster
Derek McMaster

They're having a great time at defending champion Derek McMaster's table, with his tablemate Daniel Vitiello invoking an interesting strategy to dethrone the champ.

"Get him two beers for every one that I drink, and get him drunk as shit!"

The strategy isn't working yet however, as McMaster is sitting with a healthy stack of 50,000 between his two beers.

Krasienko Takes From Bilodeau

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 0 ante

On a completed board of {9-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} with several bets already in the middle, Michael Krasienko bet from the small blind and was called by Stephen Bilodeau on the button.

Krasienko first showed {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} along with his {8-Spades}{10-Hearts} for nines-full of treys. It was good against the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{a-Clubs} of Bilodeau for the nut flush and Krasienko scooped the pot.
