Jared Woodin Eliminated in 14th Place ($6,668)

Nível 19 : 10,000/15,000, 0 ante
Jared Woodin
Jared Woodin

Jared Woodin raised from under the gun and Ryan Hansen re-raised from the big blind. The flop came {9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} and Hansen led out with a bet. Woodin raised and Hansen responded with a three-bet. Woodin four-bet and Hansen five-bet, enough to put Woodin at risk for his last 67,000 chips.

Jared Woodin: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}
Ryan Hansen: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Hansen flopped a set of nines but it was far from over with Woodin holding a straight flush draw. The {q-Hearts} on the turn and the {k-Clubs} on the river bricked everything and Woodin was eliminated.

Hoang Catches a Bluff from Baum

Nível 19 : 10,000/15,000, 0 ante

John Hoang raised on the button and Nathan Baum defended from the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Baum check-called a bet from Hoang.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and Baum checked it over again. Hoang fired another bet and Baum check-raised this time. Hoang called and the {10-Spades} landed on the river. Baum threw in a bet and Hoang quickly called. Baum showed {q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a missed flush draw and Hoang held {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for top pair.

Henson and Hoang Halve

Nível 19 : 10,000/15,000, 0 ante

Ray Henson raised in the cutoff, John Hoang called in the small blind, and Kevin Erickson reraised in the big blind which both other players called.

The {8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop saw both Hoang and Henson call Erickson's bet.

On the {9-Diamonds} turn, Hoang checked, Erickson bet, Henson raised for his remaining chips, Hoang reraised, and Erickson called.

The {2-Clubs} completed the board and Erickson folded to Hoang's bet.

Ray Henson: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}
John Hoang: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}

Both players had a ten-high straight and chopped the pot to keep Henson alive.

No Shame in Folding

Nível 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

John Hoang raised on the button and Kevin Erickson three-bet in the small blind. Nathan Baum four-bet from the big blind and Hoang got out of the way. Erickson called and the dealer spread the flop of {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

Erickson checked and Baum slid out a bet of 20,000, leaving himself with 11,000 chips behind. Erickson thought about calling before Baum said, "No shame in folding." Erickson put his chips back on his stack and then folded.

"You should be ashamed of yourself," Ryan Hansen shouted from across the table.

Nathan Baum Eliminated in 12th Place ($8,162)

Nível 20 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Nathan Baum
Nathan Baum

Nathan Baum raised from middle position, John Hoang called in the small blind, and so did Kevin Erickson in the big blind.

The flop was {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and the blinds checked to Baum. Baum raised, Hoang folded, and Erickson reraised and was called.

The {5-Hearts} turn saw a bet and a call, as did the {4-Hearts} river. Erickson showed {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for trip aces and the best hand, leaving Baum with less than two big bets.

A couple of hands later Kevin Erickson raised on the button and Scott Baum moved all his chips in for only 1,000 more. Action folded back to Erickson.

"This time there would be shame in folding", said his tablemates as the players laughed. Erickson called for just one more yellow chip and hands were revealed.

Nathan Baum: {q-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Kevin Erickson: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to put Baum ahead, but the {a-Spades} turn left him behind, and the {4-Clubs} river sent him on his way.

Kevin Rand

Kevin Rand raised from the cutoff and Steve Chanthabouasy three-bet on the button. Rand called and they saw a flop of {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Rand check-called bets from Chanthabouasy on the flop and the {9-Hearts} turn. Both players checked the {j-Diamonds} river and Chanthabouasy showed {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} to win the pot.

In the next hand, Rand raised and Justin Moeller re-raised from the small blind. Rand stuck in the last of his 46,000 chips and the cards were tabled.

Kevin Rand: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Justin Moeller: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Clubs} and Moeller rivered a flush to eliminate Rand in 11th place.
