Robbins Flops Royal Flush in First Hand at Table
As Casey Robbins recounted and his tablemates confirmed, he had just moved to a new table when the blinds were 600/1200, and on his first hand he picked up .
An early position player opened to 3,000 and a middle position player called, as did Robbins in the big blind.
The flop of was the prettiest flop a poker player could see. All three players checked to the turn.
The turn saw Robbins check, the early position player bet around 3,500, and Robbins called after the other player folded.
On the river, Robbins put out a bet of 6,000 and his opponent called. His opponent showed for a turned set, but there was no hand in poker that would beat Robbin's royal as he chipped up to over double the starting stack.
