Limit Hold'em Bracelet on the Line in Event #3

It's almost time to kick off the action for the third bracelet of the 2021 GGPoker WSOP Online Bracelet Events. Event #3: $2,500 Limit Hold'em Championship gets underway at 1 p.m. eastern time, but they won't finish it out today.

Action on Day 1 of Event #3 will end after 32 levels of play, or when the field gets to nine players remaining, whichever comes first. Day 1 plays out with 15 minute blind levels starting at 400/800 with no antes at any level of the fixed-limit game.

The $2,500 buy-in game has three and a half hours of late registration, with registration closing during Level 19. After that, they will play at most another 13 levels before they bag up for the night.

Players start the day with 50,000 chips for their buy-in, and with more than an hour to go before the start, there are already a few players waiting to go, including GGStream member Kosei Ichinose, Carlos Villamarin, Ioannis Konstas, and Ranno "RukKuRuku" Sootla.

Ichinose Takes Lead

Owen Goes Hard

"BalldontIie" raised early to 6,000 and Anatoly Filatov rerasied to 9,000 from the button. Only the original raiser called to the flop. Both players checked to the turn where "BalldontIie" bet 6,000, then called when Filatov raised to 12,000. On the river, the big blind check-called Filatov's 6,000 bet.

Filiatov showed against for "BalldontIie" sending the pot to Filatov with the best two pair.
