Time to Crown the Six-Handed Champion

WSOP GGpoker
WSOP GGpoker

With the GGPoker World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online series in full swing, it's time for Event #58: $5,000 No Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Championship. During last year's live event, there were two six-handed events near the end of the series. Joao Vieira took down Event #70: $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed for more than $750K over runner-up Joe Cada, while Anuj Agarwal defeated Kahle Burns for the Event #86: $10,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed Championship, worth about $630K.

Today's event kicks off at 2 p.m. Eastern time with players sitting down to a stack of 25,000 chips. They'll play 15 minute levels through to the final table, where action will switch to 30 hands per level until the end.

With a Championship on the line, there are already quite a few big names in the game. GGPoker ambassadors Daniel Negreanu, Felipe Ramos, Pete Chen, Thai Ha, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, and Michael Soyza are already waiting for action, as is influencer Fedor Kruze, and GGPoker streamers "YoHViraL" and Michiel "Easterdamnz" Van Elsacker. In addition to the GGPoker names, the field also includes Galen Hall, Jack Salter, Mike McDonald, Dominik Nitsche, Chris Moorman, and Peter "BIG CHI" Chien among others.

PokerNews will be on the virtual floor all day long watching the action to bring you big hands and chip counts. Stay tuned here throughout the day to find out who wins the next Championship bracelet.
