Mansour Alipourfard Eliminated in 9th Place ($59,044)

Nível 34 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Mansour Alipourfard
Mansour Alipourfard

James McNurlan opened for 900,000 under the gun, and Mansour Alipourfard three-bet all-in for his approximately 6-million stack, from the button.

Donald Matusow called from the big blind, and McNurland exited to let the two shorter stacks fight it out.

Donald Matusow: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Mansour Alipourfard: {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The board ran out {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{k-Spades}, and Matusow's pocket aces held up. Alipourfard was slightly covered by Matusow, and he's the first bustout at the final table.

Richardson Takes Down 10 Million Chip Pot

Nível 34 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Adam Richardson
Adam Richardson

Adam Richardson raised on the button to 600,000 and was called by big blind Farhad Jamasi alone. A series of ever larger check-calls ensued: 500,000 on the {a-Spades}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop, 1,200,000 on the {4-Hearts} turn and 3,000,000 on the {a-Hearts} river. This last call was especially quick, but Jamasi mucked his hand upon seeing the {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} in Richardson's possession, making for a full house on a river that likely made three-of-a-kind for his opponent.

Mash Puts on the Lucky Jacket

Nível 33 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante
Howard Mash
Howard Mash

Howard Mash has donned what he says is a lucky black jacket, and it worked out well in a hand against Farhad Jamasi.

Jamasi opened to 550,000 from early position, and the jacket-sporting Mash put in the three-bet to 1,500,000. Jamasi thought it over for a bit before folding, showing and mucking {a-}{j-}.

Mash turned over his {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} and said the jacket is now bringing him better fortunes.

Another Four Hands with Only One Flop

Nível 33 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante
Mike Lisanti
Mike Lisanti

1. Mike Lisanti raised in the hijack to 625,000, called by cutoff Adam Richardson and big blind Howard Mash. All three players checked the {9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop; Richardson took it down with a bet of 900,000 on the {j-Clubs} turn.

2. Small blind Mash made it up to 250,000, but folded before big blind Mansour Alipourfard's raise to 750,000 even hit the felt.

3. James Mcnurlan opened under the gun for 675,000. Mike Lisanti moved all-in for 4,000,000, and Mcnurlan folded.

4. Another raise-and-take-it, this time for Richardson.

Six Hands in a Row with No Showdown

Nível 33 : 120,000/240,000, 240,000 ante
Seniors
Seniors

1: Immediately following his flop check-raise of Howard Mash, James Mcnurlen did exactly the same thing to Farhad Jamasi. Jamasi had raised preflop to 650,000, called by big blind Mcnurlen, who check-raised from 600,000 to 2,000,000 on a {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop, which he'd checked dark. Jamasi laid down his hand.

2. Mcnurlen raised his button, making it 800,000. big blind Adam Richardson made the call, saying, "I'll play with you," but only played until Mcnurlen bet 2,000,000 on the {j-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop.

3. Richardson raised when it folded to him in the small blind; big blind Samir Husaynue folded.

4. Mansour Alipourfard opened under the gun and took the pot.

5. Jamasi made up the small blind and Mash checked his option. Jamasi bet 300,000 on the {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop and won it there.

6. Jean-René Fontaine raised to 425,000 under the gun and picked up the blinds and antes.
