Kenney Chips Up Some

Nível 9 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Bryn Kenney raised to 135,000 on the button and picked up one caller in Matthew Siegal out of the big blind. The {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop was checked through and the {2-Spades} appeared on the turn. Siegal bet 300,000 and Kenney called.

After the {K-Diamonds} river, Siegal checked and Kenney announced a bet of 735,000, which resulted in a quick fold from Siegal.

Haxton Doubles Through Katz

Nível 9 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Right after coming back from the break, Cary Katz raised in the cutoff and Isaac Haxton moved all in for 755,000 from the button, which Katz called.

Katz tabled the {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and Haxton had a flip with his {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. The board came {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Haxton's pair remained best to ensure the double-up.

Salomon Takes From Mateos

Nível 8 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

In the last hand before the break, Adrian Mateos from early position and Rick Salomon got involved into a bigger pot. Mateos check-called a bet on the {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Spades} turn and did so again on the {6-Clubs} river when Salomon made it 800,000 to go.

Salomon turned over the {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a nine-high straight and claimed a big pot. Below are the further chip counts of all players over on table 447.

Negreanu Has the Bigger Flush

Nível 8 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Jake Schindler opened to 110,000 from under the gun and was called by Daniel Negreanu on his left and Steffen Sontheimer in the small blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and the action checked around to the {10-Spades} on the turn.

Sontheimer led out for 145,000 and both Schindler and Negreanu called. The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Sontheimer checked this time. Schindler threw in a bet of 525,000 and Negreanu called along with Sontheimer. Schindler put his cards in the muck while both Negreanu and Sontheimer announced they had a flush. Negreanu turned over {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and that was big enough to beat Sontheimer.

Here are the counts from Table 431 heading into the last break of the night.

Siegal Shows the Bluff

Nível 8 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

On a flop of {10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}, Matthew Siegal threw out a bet of 300,000 from the big blind and Phil Ivey folded in middle position. Mikita Badziakouski check-called from the small blind as the {4-Clubs} paired the board on the turn.

Badziakouski checked and Siegal checked behind this time. The river was the {10-Clubs} and Badziakouski checked again. Siegal tossed in a bet of 400,000 and Badziakouski went into the tank for nearly two minutes. He eventually laid his hand down just as the cameras showed up to the table.

"The cameras are here!" Daniel Negreanu announced. That got enough attention for Siegal to table the {8-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} for a complete bluff.

Nitsche Takes a Chunk From Katz

Nível 8 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Picking up the action on turn of a {J-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} board, Cary Katz had a black T$500,000 chip in post-turn from under the gun and Dominik Nitsche raised to 1,800,000 from the button. Katz called and checked in the dark as the {J-Hearts} river completed the board. Nitsche shoved for roughly 2,000,000, Katz folded, and Nitsche won the pot.

Nitsche showed a {5-Diamonds} as he collected the pot.

Katz Gets Full Double Through Haxton

Nível 8 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Cary Katz
Cary Katz

Cary Katz's raise from the cutoff was three-bet to 350,000 by Isaac Haxton on the button and Katz called to see a flop of {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Katz checked and called a bet of 165,000 before doing so again on the {J-Spades} turn for 800,000. Katz then checked the {6-Hearts} on the river and Haxton used one time bank before betting 3,500,000.

Katz let his own initial 30 second shot clock run down and then asked how much the bet was, before calling.

"You win," Haxton announced and rolled over the {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades} for a bluff. Katz had that beat with {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for trip aces and scored the double. He was about to rake in the pot before the dealer reminded him that the bet of Haxton covered his remaining stack.

"Oh, in that case, I would have folded. Just kidding, I wouldn't," Katz added, and his double-up was counted to be for 3,020,000.

While dragging in the pot, Katz noted, "Good investment of a time bank."
