Six More Hands

Nível 21 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The floor staff just announced that they'll be playing six more hands before they start bagging and tagging. The players that make Day 2 have to start the tournament again in less than 8 hours.

Wolansky Sends One Home

Nível 21 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Steven Wolansky eliminated a player right before the end of Day 1e. The board was {2-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Wolansky had {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} laying in front of him and his opponent had already turned her cards upside down.

The lady walked away with the words: "At least I got it in good" while Wolansky stacks his newly won chips.

Lakhov Chops It Up

Nível 20 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Alexander Lakhov and a short stack got all their chips in the middle without any community cards out yet. Lakhov opened up {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} and his opponent opened up {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}.

The flop was {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. The players at the table were all really friendly and even Lakhov was rooting for a sweat. The turn was the {6-Spades} and suddenly there was a possibility of a chop pot.

The river was the {9-Diamonds} and the whole table erupted into laughter and cheering. Lakhov gave a fist bump to his opponent as they chopped up the blinds and antes.

Munster Wins Blind Battle

Nível 19 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Kai Munster sat on the small blind and was involved in a blind versus blind battle when the flop was already on the board and the pot was already over 120,000. The flop was {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} and both players checked to see the {9-Diamonds} turn appear.

This time Munster decided to put in a bet and he shoved a stack forward, worth 62,000. His opponent folded and Munster raked in the pot.
