Johnny "World" Hennigan has just scored a double knockout. He had raised to 32,000 from middle position and Gregg Merkow pushed all in from the cutoff. Ron Mcmillen got involved when he pushed his shorter stack all in to call, and things got scary for them when Hennigan called with the largest stack, covering them both.

The cowboys held and Hennigan scored the double-knockout, sending Merkow and Mcmillen to the cashier and we have our unofficial final table of ten players.
Play has started out fairly tight in the first two levels today. Even with the double bustout early in the second level, players seem to be playing cautiously.
Perhaps the huge pay jump between busting early and a deep final table run is engrained in the minds of the players.
Mustapha Kanit continues to scoop pots and is building a towering mound of chips.
In his most recent hand, Kanit raised to 40,000 from early position and [Removed:480] called in the big blind. The only two non-Americans at the table went to the flop. The flop was dealt and Kanit continued for another 40,000. Divkovic called and the turn card was the . Kanit bet again, this time to 70,000, and Divkovic gave up.
Edison Shields pushed all in for 179,000, Ted Gillis shoved all in from the small blind, and Jacobo Fernandez got out of the way from the big blind.
Gillis had the best of it, as he tabled versus the of Shields. Shields' tournament life was on the line, but he didn't have to wait long for revival, as the flop brought his set. The board ran out then , and Shields keeps finding ways to stay alive.
Darin Stout found a much-needed double when he pushed his stack in the middle in response to Mustapha Kanit's raise to 40,000. Kanit called. Stout held and Kanit flipped over . The board ran out a harmless (for the tens) and Stout started stacking chips.
In the next hand, Edison Shields bet 70,000 on the flop with the board reading . Both players checked the turn, and the river came . Edison check-called Kanit's bet of 135,000 while sighing "ahhhh, I'm so sick," seemingly knowing he was beat. Kanit showed for two pair and Shields mucked. He is sitting very short again despite his recent double-up.
Ted Gillis opened to 52,000 from early position and Hiren Patel reraised to 124,000 from middle position. Two seats to Patel's left, [Removed:480] four-bet to 257,000.
Action folded back around to Patel who thought for a moment before making the fold. Divkovic has built himself a nice stack in the first couple levels of play today.
