Hand #88: Mercier raised to 40,000 from his button and Negreanu three-bet to 125,000 from the small blind. Action folded back to Mercier and he kicked his cards in.

Hand #89: Volpe made it 46,000 from the small blind and Mercier called from the big. Volpe stood pat and Mercier took one new card. Volpe checked and Mercier led for 68,000. Volpe folded and Mercier took the pot.
