At 7:05 p.m. CEST, the PokerStars 2021 SCOOP-92-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, Main Event] is scheduled to kick off one of the biggest days of online poker. As all the Main Events of this year's Spring Championship of Online Poker will start today, all eyes will be on these tournaments. The $5,000,000 guaranteed prize pool is sure to attract many of the poker elite to the tournament.
In 2020, Aliaksandr "Alexgirs" Hirs defeated Pablo "pabritz" Brito heads-up for $920,596 in a field that attracted 609 entries. A three-way deal was struck with Alex "dynoalot" Difelice.
The other players to join them on the final table were Pieter "XMorphineX" Aerts, Daniel "Oxota" Dvoress, Michael "imluckbox" Addamo, Max "goodeh99" Silver, Benjamin "bencb789" Rolle, and Eelis "EEE27" Pärssinen.
Players will begin with 250,000 chips in their starting stack and can reenter up to two times if things don't work out in their favor in the beginning. Play can enter the tournament for 24 hours after the start of the tournament, so up to 7:05 p.m. CEST on Monday, April 26.
Day 1 will go on break after 15 levels of 30 minutes each have been played. Day 2 will then resume at 7:10 p.m. CEST on Monday, April and play will continue until there are 40 players left. Day 3 on Tuesday, April 27 will see those 40 players return to battle it out for a spot at the final table which will be played out on Wednesday, April 28.
The final table will be broadcasted on the PokerStars Twitch and YouTube channels with cards-up coverage on a 30-minute security delay. James Hartigan and Joe Stapleton will be there for commentary duties and joined by special guests.
