Today begins the second day of starting flights of the RunGood Poker Series Road Trip Tunica $600 Main Event at Horseshoe Hotel and Casino. A total of 177 entrants fired in yesterday’s flight, seeing 22 players make it to Day 2, which will resume tomorrow, Sunday, November 12th at noon. Players unhappy with their ending total of the day can choose to play another flight and have it be best bag forward, meaning a double bag will result in the bigger of the two stacks playing on Day 2, and the smaller one accepting a minimum cash.

The current top stack to beat belongs to Truman Weatherly, who bagged up a whopping 723,000 last night in the opening flight with Cory Smith in second with 644,000. Reigning champ Loi Hoang is also still in the running with a small stack of 78,000, but anything can happen once those cards hit the felt.

Those who do not bag will have one more chance in the form of the third flight, beginning at 6 p.m. today.

As with Day 1a, players will begin the tournament with 30,000 chips with levels beginning at 100/200 and a 200 big blind ante. Levels will escalate once every 30 minutes, with a 10-minute break occurring every four levels, then every three levels after level 8. Players will have the option to enter in as many times as they wish in the first eight levels of the tournament. Play will continue until the field plays down 12.5%, then the remaining players will bag up for Sunday, November 12th where they will all be in the money.

Early McDouble for McBrayer

Nível 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

On a three-way flop of 265, Billy McBrayer checked to Walter Hunter who led out for 600 and was called by Paul McCormack, but then McBrayer check-raised to 2,100.

This resulted in a fold from Hunter but McCormack made the call to see a turn card 9. McBrayer then barrelled for another 3,000 and McCormack called once more to see the river fall the 3.

McBrayer then announced he was all in for 11,800 and McCormack went into the tank for a few seconds before he decided to make the call.

McBrayer then flipped over AK for the nut flush and McCormack disgustedly mucked his 79 as the pot was pushed over to McBrayer.

Simon Fades the Spade

Nível 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

On a flop of 5Q8, Jason Simon and Brittany Kozarewicz got all the chips int the middle, with Simon covering.

Brittany Kozarewicz: A5
Jason Simon: KK

Simon was in the lead with his pocket kings, but still needed to fade any ace, five or spade.

The turn came the 4 to change nothing and the dealer dramatically peeled the river to reveal the K to further improve Simon to a set.

"Ugh, that was personal!" Kozarewicz half-heartedly joked to the dealer as she made her way to the registration line to re-enter as the pot was pushed to Simon.
