A total of 355 entrants have taken their shot over the course of the first two flights of play. After these two flights, only 47 players have ensured themselves a piece of the $400,000 and the rest of the hopefuls will have one last chance for victory in the RunGood Poker Series Road Trip $1,000 Main Event at JACK Casino in Cleveland, Ohio.

Leading last night’s flight and the overall tournament is Shane Pierce (601,000). Pierce had secured a few cashes the last time that RGPS had made home in Cleveland, and looks to better his Main Event finish last year with his large stack. Others who found bags included Justin Daley (546,000), William Kopp (404,000), Shaun Emery (356,000), Ian Richardson (315,000), and Katie Kopp (247,000).

Action kicks off at 12:15 p.m. local time, and players will start the tournament with 30,000 chips. Blinds will begin at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante, with levels lasting 40 minutes. A break will occur after every three levels. Play will complete when the field reaches level 18, or when just 13.5% of the field remains.

Kaemmerlen Doubles Up Early

Nível 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action was picked up in a four way pot that included Bruce Shirley from under the gun and Peter Kaemmerlen in the big blind.

On a flop of 735 with 2,300 in the middle. Action checked to Shirley who bet 1,500 and two players called. Kaemmerlen in the big blind raised to 8,000 which both Shirley and the player on the button called.

The turn of 7 prompted Kaemmerlen to move all in for 10,900 and only Shirley called while the button showed A8 as he folded.

Peter Kaemmerlen: J3
Bruce Shirley: QQ

The river 2 was good for Kaemmerlen to make his flush and he doubled at the expense of Shirley.

The flop was seen with two players. Odeg Wahdan in middle position and Joseph Hanna in the cutoff.

The flop came out J66 and Wahdan checked to Hanna who bet 600 and Wahdan called.

Both players checked the 8 turn to the 2 river where Wahdan bet 1,500.

"Told you it was me," Wahdan chuckled as Hanna mucked his hand, ceding the pot to him.
