The 914 remaining players of the 984 total entrants are now on their second 22-minute break of the afternoon and will return to the felt shortly.

Some notable names atop the chip counts are Ezequiel Waigel, Dan Smith, and Platinum Pass Winner Alexandra Botez.

Here are some of the highlights from the past two levels:

Platinum Pass Winner Aljouhari Calls Off Stack with Jacks

Nível 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Manuel Aljouhari
Manuel Aljouhari

During the break, Dylan Linde opened to 1,200 from middle position before Platinum Pass winner Manuel Aljouhari three-bet to 4,000 from the small blind. Linde called.

Aljouhari continued for 4,000 on the {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop and was called. The turn brought in the {a-Hearts} and Aljouhari fired another 5,500. Linde raised to put Aljouhari all in for his remaining 12,000 and he called for his tournament life.

Aljouhari had {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades} but was behind the two pair of Linde as he had {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. The {k-Spades} completed the board and Aljouhari was eliminated.

Addamo Shoves on O'Dwyer

Nível 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

Two high-stakes pros tangled at Table 11 as Michael Addamo was on the button against Steve O'Dwyer in the cutoff on a board of {7-Spades}{k-Spades}{4-Spades}{q-Spades} with around 60,000 already in the middle.

O'Dwyer checked on the turn and Addamo bet 10,000. O'Dwyer called. The {3-Spades} river completed the board and O'Dwyer checked. Addamo sat with his hands in his lap for over a minute before pushing out a stack of 42,600 with a single chip behind.

O'Dwyer went deep into the tank for several minutes and eventually slid his cards to the dealer to surrender the pot.

There were no cameras around, so the table was spared from another rant against Lufthansa from O'Dwyer after the German airline lost his luggage.

Misclick from a Platinum Pass Winner

Nível 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Jozsef Papp
Jozsef Papp

Jozsef Papp found himself in a tricky spot in a heads-up pot against Michael Addamo on a board of {8-Spades}{a-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

Papp checked on the flop and Addamo bet 900. Papp put out two red 500 chips and a handful of black 100 chips, apparently meaning to call but instead committing himself to a minimum raise to 1,800.

Addamo must've picked up on the situation as he three-bet to 5,400, getting a quick fold from the Platinum Pass winner.

Badziakouski Clocks Self

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

Mikita Badziakouski and Platinum Pass winner Angel Garcia Francisco played a heads-up pot that got big quickly on the flop of {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}.

Francisco checked on the flop and Badziakouski bet 15,000. Francisco responded with a check-jam for around 43,000 and Badziakouski squirmed in his chair as he went into the tank. Eventually, Badziakouski recruited some assistance to make his decision.

"Time please!" Badziakouski said as he called the clock on himself.

The tournament floor gave Badziakouski a 30-second countdown and he mumbled to himself as he thought through a decision.

"Thirty seconds left in the tournament," Badziakouski said before calling with a slightly smaller stack.

Mikita Badziakouski: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Angel Francisco: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Badziakouski showed first and was happy to see he'd likely be sticking around in the tournament as a chop was imminent. The {a-Hearts} turn created a sweat is it gave Francisco a flush draw and the Belarusian let out an "oh wow" before the {2-Clubs} rolled off safely on the river.

"I'm really happy to see queens!" Badziakouski said in relief.

"Why Did You Fold?" "'Cuz The Rest of the Table is So Bad"

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb was out of position in a heads-up pot against Xuan Liu on a board of {8-Spades}{10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}.

Deeb checked on the turn and Liu bet 7,000. Deeb called. Deeb checked again on the {8-Diamonds} river and Liu announced "all in" with Deeb covered, sending the American into a deep tank that extended several minutes. Eventually, Deeb folded to maintain his tournament life.

"Good fold," commented table mate Eric Worre.

"I don't think it was," replied Deeb.

"Then why did you fold?" questioned Liu.

"'Cuz the rest of the table is so bad," replied Deeb as he was met with a big laugh from Worre, though no one else at the table seemed to think it was funny.

"Tell us how you really feel," said Liu.

Zajmovic Still Remembers How To Play Tournaments

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Ema Zajmovic
Ema Zajmovic

Talal Shakerchi raised it up from under the gun and picked up calls from Ema Zajmovic on the button and the big blind. On a flop of {7-Clubs}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs}, Shakerchi continued with a bet of 4,000. Zajmovic called and the big blind got out of the way.

The turn brought the {4-Spades} and Shakerchi tossed in a bet of 6,500. Zajmovic still called and the {j-Spades} completed the board. Shakerchi fired out a third barrel of 10,000 and Zajmovic ripped all in with the big stack. Shakerchi instantly folded and Zajmovic scooped another pot.

As a predominantly high-stakes cash game player now, Zajmovic was heard saying yesterday that she wonders if she still knows how to play tournaments. By the way she is running up her stack today, it appears that she is still well-equipped to hold her own in the tournament fields.

Platinum Pass Winner Has Last Laugh Against Deeb

Nível 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Shaun Deeb
Shaun Deeb

Shaun Deeb only lasted a few hands after insulting the majority of the table, telling Xuan Liu that "the rest of the table is so bad."

Karma caught up to the always mouthy Deeb as the table told PokerNews that Platinum Pass winner Lucas Pignay moved all in with a rivered gutshot straight in a heads-up pot against Deeb, who called with an inferior holding and was sent to the rail.
