Crombie Runs a Big Bluff

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

David Vamplew raised it preflop in middle position and then bet 400 into a couple of opponents on a {6-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop. Sridhar Sangannagari called on his left, and Kevin Crombie came along from the button. Vamplew bet again for 800 on the {3-Spades} turn, and Sangannagari called. Crombie made it 2,100 to go on the button, and Vamplew got out of the way. Sangannagari called though, seeing a {9-Clubs} complete the board.

Sangannagari came out firing with 3,200, and Crombie made a small raise to 7,000. Sangannagari opted to fold, and Crombie turned over the {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds} as he raked in the pot.

Moneymaker Mucks to the Check-Raise

Nível 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Chris Moneymaker sat in and wasted no time getting in on the action. On a flop of {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Clubs}, two opponents checked to him in the cutoff. The former Main Event champ bet 800, and only Anthony Taormina in middle position called. The turn was a {k-Spades}, and Taormina checked. Moneymaker barreled again for 1,500, but this time Taormina responded with his own aggression. He fired in 3,500, and Moneymaker took a couple of minutes to muck his hand.
