Colman Grabs Some From Kanit on the Bubble

Nível 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Daniel Colman has definitely used the dynamics of the bubble to grab a chunk of chips from Mustapha Kanit. Pre-flop, Kanit and Colman clashed with Kanit raising it up and Colman calling in the big blind.

The flop of {2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} saw Colman call Kanit's c-bet of 45,000 and on the turn of {2-Spades} , Kanit's bet of 90,00 again got a call. However, on the final street, the river of {9-Hearts} saw Kanit check and Colman bet 300,000.

A huge bet and it put Kanit into the tank, but eventually, the Italian folded it away and Colman took the table captaincy in the move.

Ivan Luca moved all-in preflop with {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs} for his final 200,000 and he was hoping to be flipping when he got a call. He was not, however, after he ran into the freezer hand of Stephen Chidwick's {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}.

Luca was up and out of his seat before the flop, and walking away after the board played out {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

Daniel Negreanu Eliminated

Nível 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu was down to just 74,000 and moved all in, declaring he had finally found a hand. Action folded around slowly to Mustapha Kanit in the big blind and he called.

"I have a pair of kings!" Negreanu said while showing {K-Hearts}{4-Hearts}.

"I have a pair of aces" Kanit answered while showing {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and Negreanu made his exit. "Yes!" shouted Kanit teasing Negreanu.

Negreanu was unhappy with the board and took the deck from the dealer to put another five cards on the table, but those gave Kanit an even better hand with trips. "The whole deck was against me," Negreanu laughed, stating he thought that was unfair and wanted a new hand. The floor, smiling, declined and Negreanu was heading for the rail.

Aido Eliminated by Countryman Reixach

Nível 14 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Sergio Aido made a move in late position with {J-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, moving all-in pre-flop for 191,000, but he ran into Sergi Reixach's {A-Spades}{A-Hearts} and got no help across the board of {4-Hearts}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, a plaintive call for a nine doomed to fail.

We have just a dozen players left, but only nine will be paid.

Luca Busts Petrangelo

Nível 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Ivan Luca first tangled in a pot against Nick Petrangelo and took some chips from him, and finished the job the next hand.

Petrangelo shoved for his last 151,000 from the hijack with {Q-Spades}{K-Clubs}. Luca called from the small blind with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} and won the hand after the board came {J-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. Petrangelo out, Luca almost doubled.

Astapau and Mateos Eliminated

Nível 13 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

We're still five places from the money, but the action feels a lot close as just 14 players remain in the $50,000 Single Day High Roller event.

That's because we lost two players in quick succession. First, Anton Astapau was all-in from the big blind over the raise by Oleksii Khoroshenin. Astapau didn't even have two live cars when he was called, flipping over {Q-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and seeing that he was up against Khoroshenin's {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. The board of {10-Spades}{A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} sent him home without much of a sweat in 16th place.

Next, we lost Adrian Mateos in 15th when his move with {K-Hearts}{J-Clubs} was dominated by the call from Bryn Kenney's {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. The queen was the first card out and nothing improved for Mateos when the board played out {2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. The Spaniard joins the rail.
