Wang Doubles Through Hall

Nível 40 : 2,500,000/5,000,000, 5,000,000 ante
Michael Wang
Michael Wang

Ioannis Angelou-Konstas raised to 12,000,000 from the cutoff with {k-Spades}{7-Spades} and action folded to Tom Hall in the small blind who called. Michael Wang shoved for 87,500,000 in the big blind. Angelou-Konstas looked at his cards once more before folding. Hall asked for a count, the dealer confirmed the amount and Hall made the call with the bigger stack.

Michael Wang: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Tom Hall: {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The flop came {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} to keep Wang ahead.

The turn was the {8-Diamonds} to give Hall a straight draw. Wang needed to avoid the jack or nine to stay alive.

The river was the {3-Spades} which meant that Wang would double up using the queen as the kicker.

Labat's Turn to Beat Pocket Kings

Antoine Labat
Antoine Labat

Michael Wang raised to 8,500,000 from the button with {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Antoine Labat shoved for 60,500,000 in the small blind. Alex Foxen was sitting in the big blind and asked how much Wang had behind. Foxen then decided to shove too. Wang quickly folded.

Antoine Labat: {A-Spades}{9-Spades}
Alex Foxen: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The flop came {4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{a-Clubs} to give Labat top pair.

The turn was the {j-Clubs} to give Foxen to flush draw.

Labat tried the chair thing to hold on to his lead while the river was dealt which was the {4-Diamonds} so it seemed to work to double Labat up.

Tom Hall raised to 8,000,000 from early position and Alex Foxen three-bet to 23,000,000 on the button. John Haigh tanked and then shoved for 106,500,000 from the big blind. Hall contemplated his options, looked at Foxen and his own cards again, and decided to ask for a count. The dealer confirmed the amount (100,500,000) and Hall also shoved. Foxen checked his own cards and asked for a count of Hall's stack and then made the call.

Tom Hall: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
John Haigh: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Alex Foxen: {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The flop came {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and Haigh already put his jacket on.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} which wasn't the card Haigh was hoping for but it did give Hall an extra out to scoop the pot if he would hit the flush.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and Haigh was eliminated in 7th place for £100,000.

The turn was the {9-Hearts}, Angelou-Konstas checked again and so did Foxen.

The river completed the board with the {10-Diamonds}, Angelou-Konstas checked again with the best cards. Foxen checked too for Angelou-Konstas to pick up the pot.

Who Will Be Crowned the 2018 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS UK Main Event Champion Tonight?

partypoker Trophies
partypoker Trophies

At 1 PM local time, the unofficial final table of the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS UK Main Event is set to start with nine hopefuls in the running for the amazing £1,000,000 first-place prize and beautiful trophy! Out of 1,015 entries, these are the last surviving players who are guaranteed at least £50,000 but will all be gunning for more.

Leading the pack right now is Ioannis Angelou-Konstas from Greece. He dominated the chip count leaderboard after winning a huge pot against Mohsin Charania yesterday, and never let the chip lead go after that. Angelou-Konstas is no stranger on final tables having collected five titles in his live poker tournament career out of 17 final tables.

John Haigh is trailing Angelou-Konstas by two big blinds. The player from Birkenhead cashed in this event last year too but is going for a much deeper run this time. He’s almost equaled his best ever live tournament cash and is looking in fine shape to improve on that record. Closing the podium in third place is Michael Wang with 154,500,000. The WSOP bracelet winner has over $2,000,000 in cashes already and probably wouldn’t mind adding another million to it.

2018 WSOP Main Event 9th place finisher, Antoine Labat won a cool $1,000,000 for his efforts in the last week of summer for the WSOP and will be looking to do the same but now in pounds. The Day 2 chip leader will be coming into the unofficial final table in fourth place. Chatty UK pro Sam Grafton bagged 82,000,000 last night. With him on the table, the viewers at home and the people at the rail are always ensured of some action!

Day 3 chip leader, Alex Foxen is bringing 73,000,000 with him to the feature table today. Foxen might be having the best year of his life and is nowhere ready to taking it a bit easier. Ranked 2nd on the GPI ranking right now, he clearly is in fine shape and will be trying to add another title to his list of achievements in 2018.

Another American player that is pretty well-known is 2013 WSOP Main Event Champion Ryan Riess. The always friendly player comes into the final day with one of the shorter stacks with 37,000,000 and will be looking for a double-up soon. This is his 29th cash of the year. Will his 30th be a stone cold million sterling? UK’s poker grinder, Tom Hall also comes into the day with a shorter stack than he would want and will be trying to chip up soon. He already had a 2nd place finish this year and will definitely try and improve on that result.

And then we have the Irish poker legend coming into the Final Day with the shortest stack. Dara O’Kearney has 13 big blinds with 25,500,000 and will be trying to race his chips up to be able to compete with the rest of the table. Also known as Doke, the Irish player has passed the $1,000,000 mark in lifetime tournament cashes with the cash he’s guaranteed already.

This is what they are all playing for:

PlacePrize GBPPrize USD
1£1,000,000$1,302,370
2£660,000$859,564
3£440,000$573,043

7£100,000$130,237
8£70,000$91,166
9£50,000$65,119

When the players return to Dusk Till Dawn Poker & Casino, they will continue with Level 35 which features a small blind of 1,000,000, big blind of 2,000,000, and a button ante of 2,000,000. Due to the live stream, live reporting will commence at 1:30 pm local time as the PokerNews live reporting team will be following along with the delay.

So make sure to stick around to see who will win the final all-in as PokerNews will be there for you to bring you all the action from the feature table!
