EPT Online 02: $10,300 PLO [6-Max, PLO High Roller]
Dia 1 Começado
The PokerStars flagship live tournament festival has moved to the virtual arena for the first time as the 2020 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Online takes place from November 8th to 18th. On the first day of the festival, three tournaments kick off and that includes Event #02 $10,300 PLO [6-Max, PLO High Roller] as of 2.05 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) with a guarantee of $500,000. However, only one champion will be crowned today as the four card aficionados will return the following day in order to play down to a winner.
With a five-figure price tag to enter, some of poker's biggest names can be expected to battle for the EPT title and that certainly includes the Hungarian duo of Andras "probirs" Nemeth and Laszlo "omaha4rollz" Bujtas, who can regularly be found at the PLO final tables. Other notables who may very well join the action are Ola "Odd_Oddsen" Amundsgard, Sweden's "jedimaster82", Sami "Lrslzk" Kelopuro, Andreas "Skjervoy" Torbergsen, Mike "SirWatts" Watson, Niklas "Lena900" Astedt and Ludovic "ludovi333" Geilich to name all but a few of the usual PLO suspects.
Each entrant receives 100,000 in chips and the blinds kick off at 250-500 with each level until the final table lasting 20 minutes. The event is played in a 6-max format with a late registration of 4 hours and 45 minutes, during which all players can re-enter up to three times. Once the registration closes, the prize pool confirmation will be announced and the race to the money and beyond will continue until the seven-handed final table has been reached.
All finalists will then bag and tag their virtual chips for the night and return the following day at 2.05 p.m. EST (8.05 p.m. CET) to play for the first EPT PLO online title in the history of the tour. Stay tuned to find out who makes the cut as the PokerNews live reporting team will be there from start to finish.
