Aleksejs Ponakovs and Luis Faria were battling over a 34,000-chip pot when the 3♠8♦A♥K♠ board was on the table. Faria checked from under the gun and Ponakovs put in 11,500 chips from the cutoff.

Faria inquired about his opponent's stack, after which he made the call. The 4♥ river then fell and both players checked it down. Faria showed A♦9♥ for top pair, but Ponakovs had the best hand with his A♠J♠ for a higher kicker.

Grafton Loses Some Early On

On the 6♦4♠K♣ flop, Greenwood check-called Thorel's continuation-bet of 10,000 before the J♣ turn went check-check.

Greenwood tossed in two T-25,000 chips in the middle when the Q♣ river arrived, enough to cover Thorel's remaining stack of 40,000. The French poker legend tanked for a short while, but ultimately elected to muck his hand and save his final chips.

Zouari sized up to 5,500 on the A♥ turn, but Chamas stuck around while Tsiareshchanka check-folded this time. On the 6♦ river, Zouari made a tiny bet of 2,500 chips.

A quick call followed from Chamas, after which Zouari tabled Q♣J♦ for second pair. Chamas played one better, however, and his A♣3♣ awarded him the pot.
