Jelle Moene raised to 200,000 from middle position and Daniel Myers shoved for 250,000 from the cutoff. Stoyan Madanzhiev then moved all in from the big blind with a stack that covered both players. Moene had around 1,800,000 remaining and after burning through a time bank card, made the call.

If Madanzhiev could find a jack, he would bust two players and the final table would be down to five players.

The dealer fanned out the flop of 5♦9♣J♥ to put Madanzhiev in the lead with top pair. The 3♠ turn didn't change anything, but the Q♣ on the river meant Moene had more than doubled up with a pair of queens. Myers was out, and Madanzhiev sent around half of his stack over to Moene.

Niklas Astedt opened to 200,000 from the hijack and Ryan Mandara three-bet from the button to 580,000. Once the action got back to Astedt, he shoved for around 2,400,000, and Mandara rechecked his cards before he quickly called.

Aces were not what Astedt wanted to see, but there were still five cards to come for him to try and swerve elimination. Unfortunately for Astedt, no help arrived and he was drawing dead by the time the turn card was dealt on the 7♥K♣K♥K♠Q♥ runout, which left him out in eighth.

Margolin Relents Against Madanzhiev's River Bet

On the 3♥ river, Madanzhiev fired out 700,000, and Margolin released his hand after around 30 seconds.

On the Q♥6♦2♠ flop, Malec check-raised to 425,000 versus a bet of 175,000 from Cazacu, who called.

The 4♣ hit on the turn, and Malec continued with a bet of 425,000. After some thought, Cazacu called.

The 10♣ river completed the board, and Malec jammed with the covering stack. Cazacu was pained, and took three time banks before folding A♣Q♠ for top pair queens, sending a chunky pot to Malec.
