Hand #62-66: Silver Folds A Straight Flush Draw

KaleGozer • Nível 21: 10,000-20,000, 3,000 ante
Max Silver

Hand #62: [Removed:17] raised to 40,000 with {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts} from the cutoff. Max Silver called on the button with {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and Oleksii Khoroshenin defended his big blind with {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

The flop brought fireworks with {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}, giving Khoroshenin top set and Silver a straight flush draw. Khoroshenin led out 85,000, getting rid of Yan. Silver seized up Khoroshenin's stack and elected to call the bet.

The {J-Diamonds} on the turn kept Khoroshenin in front. The Ukrainian decided to check this time, and Silver stabbed at the pot with a bet of 140,000. Khoroshenin's plan succeeded, allowing him to check-raise all in for 630,000.

A disgusted Silver wanted to know how much it was, calculating if he was getting the right price to call. He wasn't, and the Brit was forced to fold his strong draw.

Hand #63: Max Silver opened with {Q-Diamonds} and an unknown card to 45,000 on the button, picking up the blinds and antes.

Hand #64: Oleksii Khoroshenin raised to 45,000 with {K-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} on the button and [Removed:17] defended his big blind with {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. Both players flopped a pair on {Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}. Yan checked, Khoroshenin bet 53,000, and Yan called.

The turn brought the {10-Clubs}, giving Yan queens-up. He checked and Khoroshenin checked behind. The river {6-Diamonds} sealed the hand for Yan, and he led out with 105,000. Khoroshenin quickly folded.

Hand #65: Oleksii raised again to 45,000, this time with {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} under the gun. He picked up the blinds and antes.

Hand #66: Ramin Hajiyev opened to 46,000 with {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs} under the gun. Max Silver three-bet to 116,000 from the small blind, holding {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Hajiyev folded his hand.
