Behzad Ahadpour:
Jakub Michalak:
The situation wasn't even all that bad for Ahadpour as his cards were live, but it would do him no good this hand. The board ran out and Michalak doubled up.
Charlie Carrel opened with a raise to 85,000 from the cutoff and Behzad Ahadpour called on the button. Pratyush Buddiga moved in for a little under 700,000 in the big blind.
Carrel folded, but Ahadpour instantly called the extra chips.
Pratyush Buddiga:
Behzad Ahadpour:
The flop was safe for Buddiga, but the on the turn flipped the tables on him. Buddiga needed a six or a four to survive, but the on the river fell just in between. Buddiga received €39,100 for his 7th place finish.
Action folded to Adrian Mateos in the cutoff and the Spanish EPT champion shoved for 505,000. His neighbor Behzad Ahadpour pushed all in as well, wagering 535,000. Rocco Palumbo folded his small blind but big blind Pratyush Buddiga slammed his cards open on the table as well as some chips; he was putting them both at risk.

The flop of and the turn did nothing for anybody but the on the turn sure did make a difference.
Ahadpour was getting up anyway, but as soon as Scott Seiver waved the ten that had hit the river, he sat back down again. Triple for Ahadpour, elimination for Mateos.
In middle position, Pratyush Buddiga raised to 80,000. Action folded to Adrian Mateos in the big blind, who went all in for 400,000. It was a ten big blind shove, but Buddiga let it go.
A couple of hands afterwards, Charlie Carrel one-upped Buddiga by raising to 85,000, then folding to a 375,000 shove from Behzad Ahadpour. The short stacks still have fold equity at this final table.
From the button, Rocco Palumbo raised to 65,000 and big blind Jakub Michalak called. The flop came and Michalak checked. Palumbo fired 60,000 and Michalak check-raised to 175,000. Palumbo tanked for a bit before shoving all in for 535,000, Michalak called.
