With the first two 75-minute levels in the books, the players are off on the day's first 20-minute break.
Back in Season 8 Davidi Kitai took down EPT Berlin for €712,000, besting a field of 745 players. Back then Kitai beat Andrew Chen heads up for the title, and we've spotted both of them in the tournament so far. Kitai and Chen sit at adjacent tables, and it's safe to say neither would mind facing the other again heads up here.
In the same season that Kitai won his EPT, Martin Finger took down the event in Prague for €720,000. Finger has since gone on a big tear, raking in $6.6 million in live tournament earnings putting him eighth on the German all-time money list, while Kitai leads the way in Belgium.

Lebanon's Albert Daher, who is looking to cross the $1 million mark in career tournament earnings here in Monaco with $983,813 to date, is off to a hot start in that effort, and into the early chip lead, thanks to two massive hands early.
Daher turned a jack-high flush against a preflop five bettor who was willing to get it in with pocket fives. After collecting his full stack, Daher kept his foot on the gas, raising it up to 400 preflop from early position, and calling when a player behind made it 825.
Daher checked the flop, but called when his opponent continued for 1,700. The turn came the and Daher led out for 3,900. His opponent jammed in for 42,200 and after asking why he bet so much, Daher called with the two pair.
His opponent had the and was drawing dead. The river was too little too late and as he hit the rail, Daher moved into chip lead position here in Level 2.
"I think it must be Christmas," said Daher, whose biggest career score was €189,000 earned in a €10,000 High Roller at EPT Deauville in Season 10. "All these gifts."

Low to mid-stakes legend and Team PokerStars Pro Online member Randy "nanonoko" Lew made a name for himself 24-tabling on PokerStars.
He's playing at just one table today, but success has come early. We caught Lew firing 2,025 at a pot of about 2,500 on a board to the turn, and his heads-up opponent made the call.
That same opponent checked the river and Lew fired out a bet of 3,500, forcing a fold.

Fajg bet 900 on the flop after the first player had checked, and Bonavena was his only caller.
