Ryan Riess Eliminated in 6th Place (€92,240)

Nível 25 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Ryan Riess
Ryan Riess

In the first hand back from the break, Ryan Riess moved all in from the cutoff for 315,000 and the action folded around to Davidi Kitai in the big blind. He made the call and Riess immediately sighed when he found himself at risk with the slightly inferior pocket pair.

Riess: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Kitai: {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}

The flop came {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Riess was asking for a diamond to get a sweat. Instead, the {A-Hearts} turn and {A-Spades} river completed the board and Riess was gone in 6th place for a payday of €92,240.

Timothy Adams Eliminated in 7th Place (€67,120)

Nível 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Timothy Adams moved all-in from early position for his remaining 601,000. It folded round to Samuel Panzica on the button who re-shoved, and the blinds folded.

Adams: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Panzica: {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Adams was behind and there was no help for him as the board came {2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}, and Panzica scooped his remaining chips, as his stack approaches three million as players headed on a twenty minute break

Riess Shoves Once

Nível 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Akin Tuna raised to 80,000 and Sergey Lebedev called out of the big blind. The flop came {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and the Russian quickly check-folded to a continuation bet. One hand later, Tuna raised to 80,000 again and Ryan Riess defended his big blind. The American also check-folded on the {Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop.

Two hands later, Riess shoved the button and claimed the blinds and antes.

William Arruda Eliminated in 8th Place (€48,630)

Nível 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
William Arruda
William Arruda

Emil Patel moved all-in from under the gun and was called by fellow short stack William Arruda. The remaining players folded and the cards were turned on their backs.

Patel: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Arruda: {j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Arruda was all-in for the second time holding pocket jacks, but this time he was ahead, but the flop of {9-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs} was a scary one, leaving Patel open-ended despite the Brazilian flopping a set. The turn was the safe looking {3-Hearts} but the river {k-Spades} gave Patel a straight and eliminated Arruda.

Patel and Arruda Double

Nível 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

William Arruda shoved his last 176,000 from the small blind with the {Q-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Samuel Panzica called with {J-Clubs}{5-Hearts} to see the board run out {A-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. "I thought it was gonna be the ace," Panzica added after the final community card saw the Brazilian improve.

Shortly after, Timothy Adams raised to 80,000 and Emil Patel shoved from one seat over. Adams asked for a count and then called the 229,000 in total with {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. Patel had woken up with {A-Clubs}{A-Spades} and doubled after a board of {J-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

Panzica recovered the losses against Arruda with a raise to 80,000 from the button, Akin Tuna called in the small blind. The flop came {K-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Tuna check-folded to a continuation bet.

Kitai's Patience Pays Off

Nível 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Davidi Kitai
Davidi Kitai

Davidi Kitai had been slowly blinding out today, but got his remaining 300,000 chips into the pot with {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}. He was called by William Arruda in the big blind who held {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}.

There was an almighty sweat for the Frenchman as the flop came {10-Clubs}{q-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, but the {9-Clubs} and {2-Diamonds} on the turn and river didn't help his opponent and Kitai doubled up to leave Arruda and Patel the two short-stacks

Riess Doubles Up

Nível 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Emil Patel
Emil Patel

After some setbacks Ryan Riess was in the big blind as Emil Patel moved all-in from the button. Patel had the 2013 WSOP Main Event Champion and Riess made the call.

Riess: {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Patel: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Riess was behind, but the {10-Spades} on a {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} flop helped him tremendously. The turn {j-Spades} and river {3-Hearts} bricked, and Patel was left with just over five big blinds
